    Am I really dumb?

I know this will probably so a totally stupid question, but how do you stitch on a LO on a sewing machine? How do you get a 12x12 paper through that little gap with the needle in without folding it up? Totally baffled!

Not a silly question at all! You can either stitch each peice separatly and then stick them down or I find that I can kind of roll the paper inwards so that it goes through the gap. i hope that this helps

I have done it by hand in the past! I pricked along a ruler, and then hand stitched zig-zags. It looked wicked. Try it!

Ali, not a dumb question at all; I'm getting a sewing machine for Christmas, and I'd been wondering the same thing - had sort of worked out the bit about sewing bits and sticking on, but was also puzzled about the 12x12 aspect

Just gentlt roll it. Sometimes you need to stop, take out the LO then turn it around and start at the other end
