I met Tim Holtz today :)

Went to the NEC with Correna (greyparrot) today - had a great time, bought lots of stash.
Went to Practical Publishing Stand where the king of ink was watching (yes, watching!) a demo. I stood next to him for a minute or so, and then decided that if I was going to stand next to him I may as well say Hi. So I did.... just said that I really liked his work (managed not to gush or go all girly

) He shook my hand, said hi, and noticed my necklace (my name badge from last week's ScrapCamp which I made from 2"x2" glass, paper, lots of ink, etc) and said he liked it

So there you go - the NEC, stash and Tim Holtz - what more can a girl ask for

Oh yes - good company while there - which I did have cos Correna was lovely and lots of fun, and suitably indulgent during my Tim moments

Twas most fabbylish indeed today. Met some fab people, Tim, Jane and Cheryl (sorry for the lack of choccy Jane...I will indulge you at the next show!), Jo Lucy (what a sweetie!), Kate from scrapcanvas, and of course Hils who made it a fabby day

Watch out though girls Bibby has a new book out.......wait for it........prepare yourselves...........'It's amazing what you can do with peel offs'!!

Dya think she is humouring us?!

Hils, I think Simba is smitten with you! He was asking for kisses still when I came back in the house!!!!
Off to eat, then canvas here I come!

Trace, depends what you're into, but the Card Fairy is always good to go to and had some £1 bargains, Scrap Canvas has some lovely kits and Mr Holtz is sharing his time between DBibby and Practical Publishing. Lots of other great stands too

Jo (Lucy) and I both had our pics taken with Saint Tim - and Jo even humoured me and took my pic with Alan and Barry - yay!!

oh - and I spent los of dosh too!

Didn't see him demoing cos every time I saw him he was either packing up his stuff to leave a stand or just arriving at one!

He didn't have it with him when he was demoing his new distressing powders. I'm still reeling from the mad dash Sarah (Flo) & I had when we realised we'd only seen a third of the stands, hadn't found the ONE she was looking for & only had an hour before we had to leave

But at least I got to see St Tim

PS Thanks Corenna, been flipping through my retro stack this evening - it's lush!
