In the Basic Grey tin we were given at Scrapmanic....

I was going to put birthday cards etc, and DH suggested we add tickets etc for coming events etc.
So now it is going to be my planner for the year, and then will be a little memento box of the year. On the front it will say: "looking forward looking back 2006"
There will be a section for each month (my friend gave me her dividers )with a little calendar, and we will keep theatre tickets (we tend to book 2 or 3 things for the next 6 months so don't want to lose them) invitations, cards and change of addresses, etc. Then after the month has passed, there will be little mementos - ticket stubs, random photos, tags with memories of events, etc. These may feed into future LOs or just stand on there own as memories.

I did an Asda one for my friends birthday, called it a "girly night in" tin and put in it 3 dvds, Ghost, Four Weddings and Funeral and Dirty Dancing, 2 pairs of slouch socks, big packet of M & Ms, peanuts, 2 minature bottles of baileys and some smarties. She really loved it, have attached pics below

OOh - if there are any Asda stores around that still have stock I would love to know - I hunted around in my local stores but to no avail.

Anyone know if there are some still around? Some of your ideas are so brill I just want to get on and make one!!

They were childrens lunch tins available in the back to school section, but they were made of metal so perfect for altering. They were done in different designs a green handled monkey one a purple handled football one and another one which I didn't see. They were the normal opening kind not the top opening ones like BG. I will have another look next time I go into ours but I am sure they don't have any left as they were reduced down to 99p.
