Paint cans - what adhesive?
About to alter a paint can - finally! What would be best to adhere Basic grey to the can, and do I need to sand it first? Am inclined to use double sided tape - would that be right?

no longer in Belfast!
Helen, you can get Mod Podge in CW in town... Its over by the section with the acrylic paints by the door... They have a selection of different types... I prefer the Matte one, just because its a bit different!

Still Scrapping

Why would you need to sand it if you're covering it with paper? *confused*
Double sided tape works well, unless you're cack handed like me and don't manage to keep the paper perfectly straight while you're sticking it on. I've also used perma herma (couldn't find the DST) and that worked great too.

Am i right in assuming you only sand it down if you are gonna paint it with acrylic's?

I can never get everything straight with DST, so it's Mod Podge for me every time.

no longer in Belfast!
Helen, no problem... I had ordered it from one of the sponsors a while back, and it turned out to be out of stock, so gave up on the idea until I was in CW one day looking at the paints wondering what I could do with them, when I noticed it... they have all sorts of things like that... just seem to keep them hidden Looking forward to seeing a pic of the tin when its done!
