sad NEC - Too ill to go!!!!

I am so gutted, I have saved for this (£5 - £10 per week) since April and last night I started throwing up and have only just stopped about an hour ago . So I couldn't go.

My DH and DS still went to the car show and left me here on my own.

Oh well, I guess the sponsors will be getting some orders from me later this week, when I manage to get my money back in the bank and I think next weekend DH will have to take me for a drive through to the Card Fairy at Nottingham, being as I have not been yet.

    I am so disappointed.

    poor you

on the plus side, there was nothing there that the Sponsors don't have, I don't think - and IMO the card fairy was the best stand, so going to their shop would be even better

Oh Ann, there's a shame, but you really wouldn't have enjoyed it if you weren't feeling well. Its very busy, and lots of, um, enthusiastic shoppers there.

I didn't go this year purely because there is nothing there I can't get online anyway, and you can shop a lot more selectively.

    Hope you feel better soon.

What a complete shame.Save the money for next year and you'll have even more to spend. Must be something about that show because I went yesterday with my 7 year old daughter and she threw up all over in there!

There was a little paper stand close by when DS did it, so I bought a local paper, spread it out over the steaming pile, and walked on. Not much else I could do!
