How about running cardstock, paper or vellum through it instead? If you use cardstock or paper try to use a white cored one and then you can sand down the letters to make it more visible.

Not sure how you can actually colour the tape itself.

Why not trim down some card stock to the appropiate size of strip and feed it through your Dymo? If it is double sided cardstock then lightly sand over the top of the letters to reveal th ewhite core. If it isn't double dipped cardstock I run an inkpad over my raised letters.

I have painted mine - acrylics seem to 'stick' OK, then you can sand away slightly to get the white to show

Ok i have tried Cardstock but it wrinkles up! The cardstock isn't that thick so its not that i don't know why! any ideas?!

Oh if only Dymo just made 'pretty' coloured tapes!

My cardstock always wrinkles a bit athe top and bottom, I think it just adds to the look, particularly when inked.

Oh but they do make nice coloured tapes. I have black, blue, red, green, yellow, neon orange, brown and then you can get the US tapes which are glossy too.

All the tapes i have seen are bright blue, red, green extra i wish they did nice pastels like pink purples (which is just what i need!) etc in fact i am quite surprised they haven't got a range like that for the junior dymos to aim at girls oh well!

Unfortunatly the crinkles on mine don't add to the effect they just ruin it! Will go and play some more see what i can find that might work!

I tried this the other night, and the card wouldn't even feed through mine, it started to, but then it just got stuck, maybe i'll try making it a bit thinner?

i have a few old dymo machines and only had red and black tape, i downloaded a font that looks exactly like dymo tape and can make it any colour i like, i also made strips to feed into the machine but the trick is you need long strips for it to work, what model is the machine? on mine the tape goes into a slot to begin with then this keeps it in place when feeding it through, i found that i could buy newer tapes or cut card and just place them above the slot and feed it myself
