Anyone or crop in York??

Hello,

Is there anyone in or around York who fancies meeting up?
My other half worked away from home until last week so I was never able to go to any crops, I am sure there is one somewhere around here?! But I am not sure how to find out about one?! But would love to meet anyone for a chat and maybe a coffee/tea/chocolate/juice in town?!

Hey Vicki, I live about an hour north of York but BF comes down some weekends for work and I end up just walking through town all day waiting for him to finish. Would love to catch up next time i'm down that way...will PM you when I'm next down your way :0)

There is a crop at Welburn I live West yorks but have a friend at York.She also scraps with me.Maybe we could all get together sometime???????????

Hi from me too, I live in Hull but I adore York and often visit for shopping trips. Any excuse to go there is fine by me
I don't know of any others who do meet up at the moment.

If everyone pm's me with dates they could do, weekdays are better for me but I am sure I could pursuade dp to look after the monkey's (2 kids ) for a few hours one weekend.

So pleased to find other scrappers around!

Jenny I know where Howden is! not far at all!

Hoping to get back onto messsenger soon probably not tonight though as I have several essays to write for my last day of my childminding course tomorrow! eek!

Hi!!

things a bit mad leading into Xmas but if anyone arranges anything I would love to come if I am able to!! Always happy to scrap. SO glad to see there are so many more scrappers around York!! Was beginning to think we were a very small minority in the area!!! Bramblepie -I've been to the Welburn crop!!

Otherwise I've got a full day scrap booked at the community centre in Strensall on 8th January - I don't have to pay for use of the hall - just charge to cover lunch etc. Also an evening onTuesday 22nd Nov. - 7pm onwards, after I finish Rainbows!!

Also got the only UK accredited Anna Griffin instructor running monthly classes here if anyone wants to know about that.!!

Is the crop at Welburn held in the village hall or at someones house?
I might be up for a meet in York though I don't drive so it would have to be easy to get to and day time or weekend.
