Hi everyone, I'm just a newbie who would like to learn more about digital scrapbooking. I have Photoshop Elements 8 and would like to learn how to use it more. Are there any tutorials on here that would help beginners? many thanks.

    Hi There

I've never heard of digi scrapping before, but am absolutely loving the designs I've seen on here, and am tempted to give it a go.
Just wondered, do you then print the pages out? and if so... how?

I have been digiscrapping now for about 4 years and I love it no mess to clear up for a start lol. I use several programs for my digi scrapping including Photoshop, coreldraw and gimp. If I can be of help to anyone I would gladly answer questions if you would like.

I've been digi scrapping for about 6yrs now but still have a lot to learn in CS5. I'm maily self taught as none of my friends this side of the globe share my passion. I just wish I had lots more free time to scrap

I use craft artist 2 which is so easy to learn and if you have craft cd's you can also bring them in to use.I also like to hybrid craft with it as well.

I use this as well, for all my kits, and graphics, but I actually started on free online software called Pixlr, and another called SumoPaint, and then later PicMonkey, using them all for different reasons. All of which are free, no download required, each with their own unique capabilities. Pixlr and Sumopaint both have their own layer abilities, PicMonkey has lovely painting and photographic filters, but my top preference was Pixlr, which also will allow you to open smaller sized PSD files. You can then save the layers in what they call PXD files.

I also wanted to mention I had a bad experience downloading Craft Artist and Serif products as they came bundled with malware, specifically the Conduit virus which is really hard to locate and rid, so do be cautious with those products.

Hi again.. If you want to see what you can do with Photoshop Elements .. that's the "non-professional" version of Photoshop .. and the less expensive one ... look in my gallery .. 99% of mine are digi.
