Exclamation 2022 card challenge - December

    Afternoon all!

As I won't be around in the morning, I'm posting the final prompt of the year a little early before I head out for my niece's Nativity play.

    __________________________________________________ __________________

This prompt also marks a decade of me hosting a card challenge on UK Scrappers.
It has been fun over the years, and I've enjoyed seeing all the different interpretations of the prompts in your wonderful projects, but I'm not sure that I've got enough Pinspiration to continue this challenge next year.

Thankfully, there is another challenge here on the Cardmaking forum that will keep you inspired!

    __________________________________________________ __________________

But now, onto the prompt for December, which features wintry and Christmas-friendly elements, plus scope for some non-festive projects for other occasions if you think outside the box a little.

The focus "colour" for this month is: Silver/Gold tones

So without further ado, here is this month's pin-spiration....
    12 - December pinspiration.jpg

I look forward to seeing how you interpret it - remember I've listed a few tips over on the blog post for this month.

The full instructions and details for this year's challenge can be found in the intro post on my blog here.

Past prompts will all be tagged under 2022 card challenge on my blog, so you can find them easily in one place.

Also, for those of you on Instagram, I'll be using the hashtag #2022handmadecardchallenge to share my projects there, so feel free to use this tag on Instagram as well!

    Points for this challenge:
This challenge scores you 20 points. As with all the other UKS challenges, you can only claim this once a month.
But remember, you can also claim points for up to 10 cards you make in any month.

    Happy crafting!

Wow, 10 years Nat !! Thankyou for all the challenges over the years, I’ve enjoyed them, just wish I’d managed to do a few more
Anyway you deserve a rest, we can always go back and look at previous years, I think they are still there in the archives.

Love Decembers picture, I’d like to make a couple of cards for family

Nat, that is a long time to think of inspiration every month.
    Enjoy your retirement
    Thanks for the last prompt.

    You are very welcome ladies.

Yep, 10 years gone in the blink of an eye... and how our cardmaking styles, tastes, and occasions will have changed over that time too.

I hope to make a card for this month's prompt once I am reunited with my craft desk again later in the month. I'm currently house and cat-sitting while my parents are over in Poland for my grandmother's funeral. It's been a chaotic week and a strange start to December to say the least. But crafting is usually the perfect way to de-stress and reset.

You are right crafting does release stress and tension.

So sorry for your loss Nat, my deepest sympathies to you and the family.x

Also, sorry to hear you're packing in the prompts you've done such a brilliant job and especially in giving the inspiration too. I haven't joined in properly for a while now but it hasn't been for lack of interest and I've always looked forward to seeing what you come up with.

Ellie, that is a gorgeous card, just perfect.

Thanks Susie, that's very kind of you to say. x

Well, I am finally back home from house sitting duties, but it has been one of those weeks where I have barely actually been in the house when not working. So nothing really done in the way of crafting.

However, I did recently buy some lovely Christmas tag sets from The Greetery that I want to use on gifts this year. So if all goes well, I will have a gift wrapping session tomorrow night.
