    White Cardstock

I had a big pack of American Crafts white 12x12 cardstock which has nearly run out and I just wondered what type of CS everyone used for scrapping and whether it was textured or not

    Thanks
    Cris

There is such a choice but I've got a pad of Hunkdory's A3 card stock. It is 300 gsm and I cut it down for a 12x12 and it leave some left over to play with. I also have an A3 printer so when I do get round to scrapping I sometimes like to print my titles straight on to the card stock, mind you any 12x12 will do for that. That's what I've used recently although it doesn't have that slightly textured background that AC has.

Also got Lynda Chapman's World of Paper 250 gsm 12x12. That and her black card are absolute staples.

I usually get my white 12x12 from Hey Little Magpie.

I too am a fan of AC white Cardstock as you can use either the smooth or textured side, but I do also have Linda Chapmans 12x12 white - its slightly thicker and super smooth.

I like the 250 gsm cardstock from UK Craft. It’s 20 sheets for a very competitive £5.99 from one of our sponsors Papermaze. I find it absolutely brilliant for non ‘wet’ layouts. https://www.papermaze.co.uk/product/...tock-white-20-
They do it in black too.
I do use the AC card for my Cameo though as it cuts really nicely..I’m not keen on the texture though and much prefer smooth.

    Thanks for all your replies
I was thinking the same Elaine - would I prefer smooth CS to textured. I might have to buy some and try
    Does anyone still use Bazzill?

I still have a variety of Bazzill which I love but only because I rarely manage a LO. Alison was looking for 12x12 cream card stock and the sponsors didn't seem to have any and I found her some at a craft shop only to then find that the Range had brilliant looking 12x12 smooth card stock 50 sheets for £9.99. I think it was 250 or 300 gsm, well packed too. I really need to get on using my stash.

I tend to get mine from the Range. They sell both textured and smooth. It's a good weight, too, and a good price.
