Hope you enjoy your new car Sheila.

Both look so cute Elaine. My great niece was going for lessons but not sure if they are doing it now, she loved it at the time though.

Have fun with the new car Sheila. That was a nasty accident and lucky he wasn't hurt worse than he was.

Ellie, all our blueberries are in pots even the big one. They do need ericaceous compost and if you buy a few smaller plants and dot them round your main plant it will fruit much better. It's nothing to do with cross-pollination, they just seem to like being grouped together. We tried it year before last and one bush alone fruited right through to August. Last year, for some strange reason hubby moved them round the decking and they did well, but nothing like the year before. So they are all going back together this year. Funnily enough, we read this a Which Money magazine of all places and just gave it a try and it worked.

Oh Elaine, Miss A looks so confident there ! My DD started when she was about 5, still at it now so beware !!
Here she is, sitting on her young loan horse (he almost is !) for the first time, think he’s going to be easy to break in he’s so good natured

Mary, those old buildings are so amazing aren’t they. It is amazing how they stay standing when you see how wonky they are !

I fancy trying blueberries, sounds like they are relatively simple to grow, will have to look out for a plant, or two, or three

Sheila, that was a nasty fall ! Sounds like you had a great time, enjoy the new car x

Your DD does look like you.
Actually I mislead you..it was a Pony Party not a lesson..but I’m thinking they may be following now! Gulp! She loved it. Her friends less so but she took to it like a duck to water.
    Amazing house Mary.

Aww Miss A looks cute On her pony. I will warn you though Elaine, it turns
out to be an expensive hobby

Your DD does look like you Alison. Love the fetlocks on the horse .What
    breed is it?

Mary when I first looked at your photo, I thought , that building is going to collapse!!!!!
    It’s a good photo.

Thanks about the blueberries Susie, I will see if I can get some more.
It’s in ericaceous compost, it looks more like a tree than a Bush!! but we have
had it a long time. Might be time to buy new ones

Enjoy your new car Sheila. You will have to take a photo to show us.

Love the old building Mary and the hearse, dare I say it, it is beautiful but don't want to be in it for a while yet.

Alison, the horse is gorgeous as is your DD, what is the 'loan' horse's name? Doesn't he have a sweet face!

My neighbour planted her blueberry in a sunny spot a year or so ago, it doesn't fruit as well as ours but maybe it needed time to settle in. Toms are coming on well and the new seeds are just coming up now. Made the mistake of keeping them in the heat which is another reason they grew so tall although we do need an extra source of light. As soon as the toms are through more we will put them into the unheated propogator this time. No sign of the peppers yet and I need to sow some more celery. The ones I did sow came through but they don't look up to much. We watched a few youtube video's from commercial growers last night and even they had problems with leggy toms and the different ways they dealt with it were amazing. So it looks as though we are on the right track with ours although one lady simply used a chopstick and a very soft, fluffy, compost and literally bent the stem in half so the roots were up round the top of the stem and buried in the compost. Of course, she made it look so easy but you could see years of experience there. Everything that is through is now on the window sill in the kitchen for the afternoon sun. Thank God for the internet I say! I've just learnt about full specturm light but not the one that glows red as it is bad for the eyes. LED seems the way to go. Ellie, we filled the pots right to the top watered them to let the compost settle and then filled them again before sowing the seed, no disappearing plants this time.

Oh well done Susie. You seem to have loads of seedlings to keep you going.
Hope the toms grow well. DD usually grows me a few and then I just
have to bring them on, and I grow them outside when they are ready.
Nothing like the taste of home grown tomato.
    Ellie
