Oh what a shame Susie,do hope he, and your sister, get well soon. You’ve had such a build up looking forward to the big game tomorrow, how disappointing.

Our cold weather has gone too Susie, it’s been raining here this afternoon. I’m sure we can find other examples that aren’t weather related

    What a shame Susie.
    Great prompts Alison.
Logging in on UKS hadn’t been a problem for me Sheila.
Lovely photos Ellie.. and Mary! What are you like? Great snowman
I arrived at 1.30 after a very easy travel. Very little snow once I’d got off my side roads.
I’ve been busily scrapping.. most in the gallery now. Done 4 so far

Sheila, I went through a period of having to sign in.
It’s so annoying! They thought it was my server. Went on for ages, then just stopped.
Not had it again, thank goodness. Sorry not much help.

Oh I see now Sandra, she is laid on top of it.

I'm not having to sign in either Sheila. I can understand it happening once if you've deleted history and cache and all that sort of thing but once you've ticked remember me it usually stays in place.

You have been busy Elaine, I'll check out the gallery next, I saw one earlier.

It is terribly disappointing, especially as it is his 30th birthday treat. They can always go together again but the day was all planned and the afternoon and the evening too from the sounds of things - ah well, best laid plans and all that. Or as hubby always says, 'man makes plans and God laughs.' Well, he's having a right good chuckle now. Funnily enough, it was my b-i-l we were worried about after his fall yesterday. Only last night I told hubby if b-i-l couldn't make it I might have to go instead, joking of course and now look what's happened.

I'm try to design a couple of baby cards one pink and one blue, but sort of stuck at the moment but would like to have something half ready for the big day. Instead I think I'll go and curl up in the corner and knit. I've managed to figure out how to adapt the pattern to the decreasing, I'd forgotten how tricky it was but once you've got the hang of it, it's not so bad. Sister has had to drag herself out of bed to look after her son, he only started with it this morning with a bit of a tickle in the throat and chest and went to work, two hours later it struck so hard he had to come home. I remember one year both hubby and I had the flu really bad and we were both in bed and whoever felt the least ill at the moment had to go and gets the hot drinks.

Sheila just read your post on the Jan thread.
Your shoulder sounds very painful. Bone on bone is no joke.
It sounds as if the cartilage has worn away. What age do you have to be to be
able to have surgery? If it’s that painful I would Definitely go back to the Doctors.

    Hi Denise.

I took another photo this morning that I meant to show here, it's of my garden cat ornament, he was buried up to his neck in snow and had a snow Busby on his head

That’s a lot of snow Mary. Love your snow penguin.
There is almost none here but I don’t have to go anywhere until tomorrow afternoon.
I got on well yesterday..finished 8 layouts in total. I bought an album to take them home in. At this rate I’ll need another one! Lol
Unfortunately the table I’m on, the people are very nice but not very chatty so I am just head down, ploughing on.

    Morning all,
Your snow cat is puurrrr — fect Mary
Elaine , that’s a lot of LO you have done. Did you go there on your own?
It’s a pity that you can’t get them talking, I like that part of a retreat, but
hope you are enjoying it anyway.
We have a covering of snow this morning.
    Ellie
