Hope you feel better after an early night Mary. Is it yuck because you're going down with something or just a slump after all the Christmas and New Year excitement?

I've been falling asleep on the sofa and have perked up a bit now, so we'll have something to eat and maybe an early night. Mind you, by 10.30pm I'll probably be perking up again. I really must get this melatonin sorted, I haven't forgotten, I just need to get round to it.

Ellie, we might be getting one each as Elaine said two of the baubles didn't cut properly and I'm not too far behind you, I'm a little bit younger, a little bit taller but I need 4 different pairs of specs. I was sitting under the reading lamp earlier knitting and as I looked across the room at hubby I thought I was going blind in my right eye. That's the one I have all the trouble with though neither of them are up to much, but it turned out I had my reading glasses on for knitting - it was such a relief.

I’ve only got 2 pairs Susie. Long distance and reading. But I know my eye sight
has got worse,so will have to get them tested.

My Llama hasn’t got a name so, suggestions please.
I did think about Lawrence , but not sure.

I’m tired, so think I will retire to bed soon.

Is it a boy or girl Llama? Hubby and I both said Lily at the same time. Of course if it is a boy Laurence/Lawrence is good because you could shorten it to Larry.

Up to page 3 already in one day ! I think this is definitely the chattier thread here

Mary hope you wake up feeling better this morning. I love your new slippers, very cute.
    Lawrence is a nice name
I’m going to try and take some pics today. Life can start getting back to normal now. DH and DS have gone off to work and I’m having weetabix and a cuppa while it’s quiet in the house, kids will probably be up soon.

I promised DD I’d do some poo picking in the field for her today as she’s back at work too - the fun never stops

I’ll be back later, have a nice day x

poo picking has to be done I had donkey hoof probs again the farrier coming tomorrow he perked up today I dosed him with metacam and that prob done the trick he is prone to this prob so I should be use to this but not it be beans on toast for me
I saw a funny photo of a loaf bread as a birthday card for January birthdays
Yes it has to be done poo picking thats a good name for it our donkey manure is like gold dust people in the village buy it though we sell it cheap as at one time we did struggle but now the customers are forming an orderly queue
We have our poo picker here helping it doesnt take him long to fly round and gives DH a break and saves back ache and now he pulling out some food that helps me too so he worth his weight in gold

It’s not all that bad, gets you out into the fields.

Nice slippers Mary, and lovely photos of daybreak. It’s cold here but not frosty.

Denise, hope donkey is improving ,hoof wise.

    Elaine , enjoy your pedicure.

No it’s not bad Ellie. I enjoy getting out in the morning. It’s nice and peaceful out there and I get some exercise too
Denise, wish we could sell our manure, we can only give it away ! I do make use of it on my own garden, it breaks down beautifully into a lovely compost

Here’s a few outdoor pics, and the last has handles in it...
