    Morning all,
No it’s ok Mary, everyone Is different. I’m with you on that one.
I don’t like slobbery dogs either.

Good look with the class Elaine. We don’t have any Adult vocation classes
round here now. Council stopped them to save money .

It’s quite mild here this morning.

    Morning.
Oh dear, Sheffield council are not in the good books

Dogs are nice, but as you say they’re a tie. I’m not desperate to have one. And DH Doesnt like dogs at all, think his dad out him off them, probably gave them more attention than the kids !
I’m happy just minding other people’s animals at the moment I was responsible for Daisy a couple of days this week while DD is away.
Here’s a pic of her ‘outdoors’ playing with the horses ball, she ran around with it for ages !

She‘s a beautiful dog. Horse ball? Explain please?
I’m appalled at the council stopping adult Ed Ellie. We have hundreds in several locations around Kent. Some too far away as it’s a big county but literally every course you could think of. We pay for them anyway? Although I guess they are subsidised.
DH is babysitting his brother again today. Still no better. He still can’t go out or be left on his own.its so sad.

Young horses love to play too Elaine, it’s just a big ball with a handle so they can pick it up and run around and annoy the others with it - like a puppy, just bigger ! Daisy loves to run around with it in her mouth and run round in circles with it !

Elaine from what I know , the council hasn’t stopped all adult Ed, but it doesn’t
do hobby type things. I used to go to silk painting, and stained glass classes.
There used to be leather work ,upholstery and painting.
But they stopped doing them. Well they did in my area , don’t know about other
areas of Sheffield. They do a lot of Diploma and certificate classes, for work related
    things.

Actually, OES don't slobber, I can't stand slobbery dogs neither can hubby. When you see dogs shake their heads and a load of drool goes flying it's a yuck from us. But the boys do like to wipe their faces on things, I think lots of dogs do. Perhaps if we gave them napkins with their meals it would help. Their annoying problem and hey ho it's the breed so we can't blame them, is that they have beards under their chins (rather like hubby) so when they have a drink of water yes, the water stays put and we have to wipe that off or it will go everywhere, mostly on us because they like to come over and lay their heads in your lap, they're not soft. Boxers are terrible slobberers, sorry if anyone has one. Actually, I'd say the majority of dogs don't drool, it tends to be the ones where the mouths are wide and floppy, if your dog suddenly starts to drool it is generally a tooth problem, same with cats, the tooth problem bit I mean.

My ASBO dogs don't waste time drooling Elaine, they are too busy stealing your food or plotting ways to steal it, keep us on our toes though.

Ellie, our last dog who was the most special of the specials, was supposed to be our last dog and look how that turned out.

yes look how that turned out. Two lovely OES.
I agree, boxers are terrible slobbery dogs. Our friend had one, and you
couldn’t go round to their house in any decent clothes!!!
My DDs Labradoodle has a beard and she’s the same. You have to wipe
her beard after having a drink. ( her not you ) Otherwise it trails all over the place.
Actually it’s only short now, because the puppy border terrier next door
    likes to swing on it

Hope everything goes well tonight with your visit

We are going to the local pub for dinner later... I can’t be bothered to cook tonight !!!
    Ellie.

Oh that made me laugh Ellie about the puppy. Their beards are like a damn sponge and then they mess with us. One will have a drink and just as you sit down the other will have one and as you turn around again the first one will go in and have some more. We are sure it is deliberate. They are lovely and thank you for that Ellie, but they have been the hardest work out of all the dogs we've ever had. One of the things they did when we got them was bark at anything and nothing, probably because they had been left outside so much. I can't stand barking dogs or yappy dogs (I'm doing a Mary now, sorry if it offends anyone). I can't bear dogs being left outside to bark, not only do I feel incredibly sorry for the dog, it drives me nuts.

When we got these they ran in circles, round and round, they were so stressed and of course one in particular was no longer house trained and in a big dog it is like having a river in your room when they wee, it was a nightmare. The work was worth it though but if they'd gone to someone who was out at work at all, they would have been back at the rescue in a heartbeat. Sadly, that's what happens with dogs that have problems, they need to go to a suitable home in the first place or it is all downhill for them and very, very sad.

No Burleydam because I'd forgotten that they close early in January, their late night on a Thursday starts next month, so we'll go straight to see the therapist.

Enjoy your meal Ellie, great idea if you don't feel like cooking.

Me neither! Should be banned. It’s very inconsiderate
My Spaniel doesn’t have a wet muzzle but his ears get in the water bowl and they take forever to dry.
Alison I didn’t know that about horses. It sounds lovely.
Hope you enjoyed your meal Ellie
You’d think the cats wouldn’t want to get near the bath. I just saw a clip on FB of a cat that was rolling in an empty bath that the owner had had a glitter bath bomb in.. the cat was all sparkly! Lol

There’s a lot of talk to catch up with ! I can’t comment on dog things, other than I’m glad I don’t have one

Here’s some old outdoor photos showing young horse stealing Cookies muzzle and playing with it ! He used to have a great time
