    December Week 1 Challenge

    Morning ladies,

The challenge this week is as follows:

One photo which speaks for itself - no journaling necessary, can you believe it! 10 points

Triangles and rectangles and squares, 10 points

    One inspirational quote, 10 points

Most of all, have fun. Here is the photo that I just had to scrap.

Here's a warning to all...never do this when you've had Prosecco. I'd written out my Christmas cards and felt I deserved a treat, big mistake!

Thanks for your lovely and very kind comments ladies and you can see why the challenge became what it is, I just had to scrap that photo. Two glasses of Prosecco last night and I forgot to post the LO and then link it to this thread. I'm such a wimp when it comes to alcohol, fortunately hubby is the same.

I look forward to seeing what you come up with, at least there is plenty of time.

Glad I could make you happy Denise. I'm sure you'll find the shapes part easy-peasy.

Mary, I don't know if you saw the comment I left for you before you posted here but I was hoping it was for this challenge, it is so perfect. I have a photo of my g-niece and g-nephew which I will have to scrap and use the wonderful quote as they too are walking away hand in hand and seeing your photo reminded me of it, so thanks for that and thanks for such a wonderful LO.

That is wonderful Hilary, I'm enjoying seeing the LO's for your brother and isn't it funny how things we say as toddlers stick around for years. My mum called Dad Ron, being his name of course, but my niece, their granddaughter tried to say it when she was little and could only say Ra. We all called dad Ra in the end. Does your brother remember the name he had for the pipers or is this going to be a lovely surprise for him?

I've just checked out your LO Karen and it is fantastic and true to your style, despite the lack of journaling - sorry. What a wonderful quote, it made me think back to when we were young and watched Jacques Cousteau on the tele.

These prompts were one of three different ideas I had, one was LOTS of journaling, maybe next time. Then again, I have another idea which I want to use as a challenge so roll on next year, sign me up now
