You're very brave Elaine and good luck for the whole day. Love the decs and great minds and all that with the boxes... but aren't they easy just to be able to see what is in each one.

We've had a cleaning afternoon, had to remove the radiator covers to see what was lurking behind them. Hubby's best statement ever "This cleaning lark is very tiring isn't it!" I wouldn't mind he was standing watching most of the time and handing things to me.

Ellie, my garlands alone take up at least one huge box, how do you manage to get all your decs in one box? It must be like the Tardis! We don't even have a lot up but the garlands are quite bulky and then inside and outside lights but not an awful lot else and not even a tree.

All the decorations look great. I’m with Ellie mine are a real mishmash and all in a case now in the spare room as I no longer want to go up in the loft or have to put them away in the loft afterwards and nowadays I only decorate the lounge. The hallway has lights but they remain up and are used as soon as morning are dark. My task for today is clear and thoroughly clean the lounge and make a start on the decorations. I’ll see how far I get

Morning. Boy it’s pouring down at the moment, very dismal day. I’m staying inside and cleaning tidying and decorating too
I think I’ve had a colour coordinated tree ever since I had my own home and I’ve always bought new baubles wherever I go so I have quite a collection. I have a set of shelves in our attic to store all my stuff, I have boxes for Easter/Spring and autumn too
My boxes are clear too, it’s much easier. The garlands are bulky, I have bigger boxes for them....

Oh my gosh !! You are all so organised
I only have one box because I don’t have that many decorations!!
I’m very minimal! When the girls were younger I did decorate up to the hilt,
but since we moved here ,I had a clear out, and only keep the minimum of stuff.
Less to take down when it’s over

I’ve been tidying the lounge so I can put up decorations all morning and haven’t got very far. I had so much stuff around which should be sorted on a regular basis but living on my own I just ignore it as a rule. Still I have done one little bit of Christmas decorating but green red and silver rather than gold still silver is traditionally isn’t it

Just a quickie, love the decoration Mary, it is gorgeous.

Alison, you are truly organised, I'm so impressed.

Lovely sunny day here and then the wind got up, still, at least it is dry so far.

Hubby went off to meet his friend to deliver Christmas cards for the family and other odds and ends. Fifteen minutes later he was back again as he'd forgotten the parcel.

Oh that is so not like Miss A, hope she was soon back to her cheerful little self.

Oh you've done well Mary, everything looks so lovely and Christmassy. Yes, now sit back and enjoy it. I like to turn the TV off and enjoy the glow of the Christmas lights, it is so relaxing. Just about to get hubby up in the loft to get the wreath and a few more bits and bobs down.
