Following on with the baking theme ... we made these gingerbread houses today. They are a kit from a John Lewis. The house ‘parts’ are ready made you just have to stick them together with the icing provided then decorate. It kept the kids amused for ages ! Lots of licking of icing-y fingers though! Make sure you leave the house to dry for longer than the 15 minutes stayed in the instructions :-D
