    Pix Scan

As we've been saved for another year I've decided to use the forum more so...
What's that pix scan all about then?
I've never used it, anybody had a go.

I have used my Pix Scan mat and love it. If I have stamped something and want to cut it out I can do and recently I had 4 decoupage sheets that I wanted to cut and used my Pix Scan mat to scan them in and cut some very fiddly pieces out very easily. You do need a good contrast between the background and the image you wish to cut but I find it really useful. It can be a bit hit and miss at first but once you get the hang of it it's good. Hope that helps.

Oh, so you can cut out accurately your stamped images, that’s of interest to me. Thanks a lot, I just need a mat, I presume it works with the portrait?

Yes, you can! It's so much easier than fussy cutting them. As long as you don't save the stamped images as a file, you, should be fine. You can either use a scanner or even your phone to take a photo of the image you want to cut and the machine does its magic. I have a Cameo but I am sure you can do it on the Portrait as well. Brians videos were a great help to get me going.
