There used to be a member on here a few years ago who made them with her Craft Robo. I have some of her file's and they're dated 2009

Looks very difficult, getting the slots right. I've tried to find a file so that I can have a look how its done but it might be to much for my pea brain.

You're probably right about the slots...... not so much about getting them in the right place but more about how wide to make them depending on the thickness of the card

Yes, very important to get the slot widths correct. I thought I had previously posted some of my designs 'free for UKScrappers to use' only.

I usually have instructions with points identified with letters and numbers so we know where to match pieces up.

What is is you are trying to make? Let me know anything you need - perhaps I can help with instructions.

I'm looking for a simple domed base square and oval.
I'd love to know how to make them and I want to start simple.
    Thanks a lot Petrina.

Well I've made a couple of slice forms and the slots are indeed the tricky bits. My first one was good but not the shape I was after and the second one was the right shape but the slots were to big so at the moment I'm fiddling with getting them right. But at least I know it can be done on the machine which is good.
I saw some amazing cards which are sliceform dome shapes at the base and decorated and they fold flat for posting. I'm trying to do my own version of that.

Great job bobble21 for sticking to what you want.
It helps to get the line thickness and opposing slots right by putting the opposing pieces (one over the other) while laying flat to be sure things line up, Do this before cutting and assembly. That trick works like a charm every time.
