The silliest bit of stress can make M.E. worse. The other night we watched Bridge of Spies which was amazing if you haven't seen it. Anyway, in it Mark Rylance plays the Russian spy and he looks so calm throughout, even when facing the death penalty. Tom Hanks keeps asking him, are you worried and he came back with "Would it help?" I thought what a brilliant attitude to have as I worry about everything. If there was an Olympic Gold for worrying, no one else would have chance, except maybe my sister - we have dad to thank for this, the worry gene as hubby calls it.

So, I'm trying to worry less and think of those wonderful words and ask myself, will it help to worry, although it is hard to change your nature but I have to try.

That is so true, I must remember that.
You can tell that you are a worrier, because all your work has got to be
perfect in your eyes. Where as I would like mine to be perfect, but I don’t
    worry if it’s not .
The things I worry about are my children and grandchildren.
Are they well, are they happy ,are they safe.? But I suppose every parent thinks like that.
TRY not to worry, it’s not good for you
    Ellie

Have you seen the film Ellie? If not, here's a little clip and you'll see what I mean.

I'm so grateful not to be a worrier. It is such a pointless exercise and it doesn't change a thing..DH worries enough for both of us. Even when Mum was really ill I thought about her a lot but didn't worry per se because I knew I couldn't have done anymore for her than I did. The GP was rubbish though and that was stressful I have still yet to write that letter. I will in time.
Some lovely sunset photos! Amazing. I haven't set foot outside the door today as I've been sorting all my stash out to make way for a larger art space. It's a rip still but I hope to carry on tomorrow afternoon. I'm going to Mums house with my sister in the morning to have another sort out before we get the valuers in.

Here's another 'home made' photo...it's a layout I made a while ago but I've been looking all through my layouts of Mum and I liked this one a lot so thought it'd share it here. I'm having a reminiscing evening and trying to remember the good times.

Elaine, it is staggering how like your mum you are. Such a beautiful LO too.

Hubby is like you Elaine, he simply doesn't worry but why would he have to, I do enough for both of us. I just tell him what to do and off he goes. He doesn't have to worry about bills, insurance, banks anything to do with the household - easy life!

Mary, we have another thing in common which we certainly don't worry about - ironing! I'd never lose any sleep over that, easier not to do it.
