Thank you both, I'm not sure if it is a bit too fussy but we'll see if she likes it. I still have to take the photo of the other card I've made that really does fit the prompt.

Here's a card I made using Nat's beautiful stamp. I tried blending inks but it looks a bit patchy to me and on top of that I can see a few bits of embossing powder in the photo, which, by the way, I can't even notice on the card itself. It's funny, but I always spot flaws on the photo rather than on the cards, must be because they are blown up on the screen. We may need a few butterflies to hide any problems. At least this one meets the prompts.

Lovely card Susie. I can’t see any embossing powder that shouldn’t be there!
    It’s a gorgeous stamp.

Thanks Ellie, I love this stamp and it was all down to Nat and her enabling abilities. If you haven't seen her card, check it out. I love the gold but didn't want to make it look as though I'd stolen it completely - next one though... I was trying to keep it quite simply but it's very hard for me.

This won't be going anywhere, (except maybe the bin) it is a work in progress. I stamped the image after doing the background part, but then I went over it with clear embossing powder to make it stand out. I'm going to start again to get it to look tidier, but I am happy with colours and this is way out of my comfort zone of pretty, ditsy floral backgrounds, but I'll share it with you anyway.

I do find the blending technique quite tricky even with the glycerin. Any tips anyone?

Card off in post zooming to my friend how quick is that but want it to arrive in time and a bit last minute but i did just colour in a light blush colour the ears tail as after uploading i thought it looked too bland it just needed some more colour
So great to upload even if it highlights the faults for us

    Love both your cards.
Susie, I love the simplicity of yours, the colours and the blending.
As Denise said, you are far to critical !!

Denise, absolutely love your donkey, and it’s in my favourite colour too

That's 'cos I can see the flaws Ellie. Thank you both anyway, who thought I'd do simple.

Denise, I love your card, that donkey is so cute. I wouldn't have noticed about the ears and tail but can see how it would just tweak it that bit. Isn't it funny how you notice things once they are on-line. At least you had the chance to play before posting too, although I'm sure your friend would be just as happy either way.
