It doesn’t matter Sheila, they are both nice

Awww lovely kittens Susie, but no I’ll decline the offer I think
If I had another pet, it would be a Westie or a Cairn Terrier. But I’m not
    planning on having anymore.

Here’s one. I bought this key ring last time we went to Australia.
I have it on my bag, and it’s true , it is a long way.

    And it is Ellie!

I am so tempted, we haven't had a cat in such a long while, but not sure how the boys would react although we were told they liked cats. All of our OES have loved our cats. I've put her in touch with our local cat rescue, the lady is a friend and she is amazing.

So , lovely knowledgeable ladies, I have a question. I bought this edger die,
but I want to know how do I use it. Do I just put it on the edge of a card,
or do I cut it on a separate piece of card and stick it on the front of a card!!?
    Photo below.

I think you would just put it on the edge of a card, but don't hold me to it

Yes it is to be used on the edge but if you are careful you could fussy cut round the joined edge and add it separately

    it’s nearly orange Mary.

The die is a Creative Expressions one Mary. I bought it from the craft fair I went to on Sunday.
    It’s called Holly Berry edger.
Thank you ladies for your help,
    Ellie

    Beautiful canvas Mary.

Ellie, I love your edging die. It is only meant to use on the edge but as Mary said, if you're into fussy cutting... Pity they didn't include a separate die so you could easily cut it out or leave it in, a lot of them are like that now. I do love Creative Expressions though and it is exceptionally pretty.

Well, we went to our hairdresser's and poor hubby was quite busy. First he meets our hairdresser's little girl from school, then he takes her to Clown School or dancing as it is actually called. Then he took her older daughter to dance/theatre/drama school, not sure what it is now. It poured down too. Then we finally went to see our g-niece and g-nephew and took birthday presents. I simply wasn't well enough to go for her birthday, but hey it means getting more presents later so that's not so bad.

Hubby then had to chase them, I couldn't, in fact I couldn't even bend to get my boots on and off. So lots of screaming, some of it from the kids and some from hubby. My niece is jealous because it reminds her of when he used to chase her and her brother round our house when they came to stay, which was most weekends growing up. As you can tell, he loves doing this but isn't up to chasing for as long as he used to. He is great fun to be around though bless him.

Sounds like great fun Susie. Kids love to be chased, don’t they?
It’s lovely of DH to look after your hairdressers daughters.
    Is your back still sore?

Back is still bad, but at least I can move without it feeling like it will go completely. Mind you, taking extra painkillers at the moment but I'm ringing a lady tomorrow who deals with pain of all sorts, acute, intermittent and chronic pain. My niece's hubby has been going to her and he thinks she is amazing, so I will ring first and have a chat hopefully tomorrow.

Can't sleep so I've been having a wander round the house. I meant to post this, one of the giants with orange in the photo, just look at all those people and they were only there to see that giant.

I meant to post this the other day, not so much unusual but certainly out of place. In amongst all the begonias and lobelia, one little pansy has suddenly appeared.
