Fix my silhouette Cameo

Hello,
I just wondered if anyone knows Is there an engineer or chatroom anywhere? I'm based in Yorkshire England
I got my Silhouette Cameo 2nd hand so no guarantee or support
I did a stupid thing and pushed my motor ( trying to lubricate ) but while still plugged in and now it cuts in the wrong place by about 8 cm
Too far to fix with calibration, I've tried

You can get support from Graphtec GB as they are the UK distributors of the machines and very helpful but they aren't open at weekends - the number is 01978 666700 - this is their contact page https://graphtecgb.co.uk/contact/. Have you tried gently sliding the carriage to the right and back while the machine is switched off ?

It sounds silly but have you tried switching the machine off, unplugging it move the carriage back tot he start position and reconnecting it and switching it back on?. That usually resets the carriage.
