Yes I’m not coping with the heat either but there has been a slight breeze today. I’ve been so tired keep falling asleep and don’t really feel like doing anything

I went to visit a friend today who lives most of the year in her caravan near Gt. Yarmouth. We sat on the veranda at the front in the shade and it was lovely and cool in the breeze but it was scorching in the car coming home and I feel like I'm melting, LOL

Good evening ladies, sorry I've been AWOL today we went to the hairdressers' and it couldn't have been hotter. Came back and just collapsed in a heap.

I did not know air freshener was so dangerous Denise. Glad to hear you've found a home for the cat. I'll have to go back and read the rest of your post again, it is usually me doing the long ones.

Miss A looks so sweet with her goggles and love the tool too. The gazebo looks lovely and we've found that putting the umbrella up on the deck, part of which is outside the kitchen window, makes our kitchen much cooler.

I just love the stolen chip quote Ellie, so funny. It's a side tin opener Ellie.

Hubby always has fun with our hairdresser's little girl and he teases her mercilessly. Today they were all fighting over an iPad with a game, the photo's aren't great because I could have done with it set to speed mode. I re-set it and then caught a photo of her on the trampoline and on her bike and with a tool she'd made, missed her on her skates. She was skating round the living room whilst I was having my hair done.

I'll post a photo of her with her tool which is a Naughty Person Detector and the only naughty person in the house was hubby apparently, it kept swinging round to him.

This was so funny because she went quite high and through the lens it looked as though she'd disappeared out of the enclosure. Honestly, it looked empty.

That was the very reason my sister had her A/C repaired Sheila. She got stuck in traffic when it was really hot and felt like she was dying of heatstroke. It is the one thing our car has to have, the fancy looking cars with fancy gadgets don't bother me as long as the car has A/C working and it gets us from A to B, that will do nicely.

Lovely photos Susie. I was going to say how agile the little girl was, but if she
goes to gymnastics she would be.
Hubby looks as if he enjoys it.

I’ve been wilting too today. We went out this morning, but had to come back . It was
just too hot for me!! Been out to dinner tonight and it’s a bit cooler now.
I’m really not good in hot weather!
Our car has A/C, but I also insist that it has heated seats for winter
    Never satisfied, am I ??

Hubby has a ball when we go there and he will sit and play with the youngest while I'm getting a colour and cut etc... They wanted to go to the woods today with the dog but he was so tired after spending all of yesterday and this morning sorting out our neighbour's large freezer. It was a solid block of ice inside. I worded that badly, I am of course talking about hubby not the dog sorting out the freezer.

When Anne our hairdresser was saying to someone that most of her clients are getting old now and she'd soon be needing new clients her young daughter said to her, and this cracked me up, "Can we keep Sue and Jeff though?" She had to explain that she wasn't getting rid of us just that she will need new clients as well. Sounds like can we keep the dog.

When her now teenage daughter was young they would take our dog Trudy to the woods while I had my hair done and now her younger one is met from school and he takes her to dance class or Clown School as he calls it. I couldn't get over the way she jumped and touched her toes mid air, pity the sun was against me or it would have been clearer.

Great action shots Susie. She’s very agile! Sounds like Jeff enjoys your hair cut as much as you do
We were so hot yesterday afternoon that we just sat and watched Cinderella (again) to get some peace and quiet. It was way too hot and I went to bed at 9.30 as I was so tired. Luckily Miss A didn’t wake until 8am so we all slept well. We did manage a trip to Penshurst Place again in the morning and we went on a Maize Maze..after going on the swings etc of course.
Taking her to visit Nanna Pat (my Mum) today

They certainly look like they were having fun Susie, lovely photos. That’s a brilliant jump on the trampoline, and love her naughty person detector.
Lizzy and I had fun yesterday, we found some snails that she has taken as pets ! They’ve gone away for a week today so I have to look after them I didn’t get a photo as I left my phone in the house, maybe next week .
    Love the seagull quote
I don’t like the heat either, had all the doors open last night but I was still hot, it didn’t cool down much over night.
