I watched the show too. You were great Sheila, very honest admitting to your impulse buys and gaming, there are so many things to tempt us nowadays aren’t there. Well done for making such an effort to turn your life around and your cash from the big show must have been a great bonus and encouragement for you to keep going
I think we all buy way more than we need, and as the guy on tv said, your craft room is quite normal

Some great photos already, love your beautiful neat garden Susie, and Ellie your seaside photos look wonder, would love to go visit round there. Elaine, that mad hatters tea party looks yummy !

Here’s a couple of quick ones from me, had baby Lara today, I got a bowl of water out for her to play with ....

Thank you Mary, might just use it and especially for you I have been snapping away this afternoon. The water being the Mersey was not much to look at, certainly nothing as beautiful as yours Ellie, should have gone to the Wirral for that but we had a brilliant afternoon. I took so many photo's, I saw lots of white but the sun was blinding me so I couldn't really see what I was taking just snapped and hoped for the best.

We met a lovely family from San Diego down by the Beatles' statue. I was draping myself over Paul at the time and almost got burnt because the metal was red hot, literally. I said to hubby (as I touched Paul) "God he's hot but then he always was" and they started laughing and offered to take our photo.

The lady was from Nottingham originally but has lived in America for 23 years. She did say something to us but I couldn't understand it, then she told hubby what it was, I'll ask him, it was probably a local expression. Jeff was telling them how the Cavern isn't the original Cavern and they were asking where to go and places to see. I took some photo's of them as a family group standing in front of the Beatles.

    More later...

Aww, nice photos of Laura Alison. I love how she’s trying to put her leg into the bowl.

Susie, looking forward to seeing the photos.
I was never a great fan of the Beatles. Liked some of their music.
I was passed all that teenage angst before they came along.
I was more of an Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, kind of girl
I would love to see the statue though.

Mary, I can't believe that photo. I drove past kids with water pistols and never thought twice about it.

It was "Alright me duck" that the lady from Nottingham said.

Ellie, did you want the Beatles with or without me draped over Paul?

Hubby had a white t-shirt on and I had white pants, so they count. Next is the cat with 2 of the 3 white mice.

The Museum of Life in the background is also white. White dogs - mostly, next.

Awesome photos Susie. So many interesting things to see in Liverpool..even if the Mersey wasn't up to much today.
Really great photos of you and Jeff.
    Nice new avatar Mary.
Oh my baby Lara is so adorable. All rolls and softness with a little mischief thrown in. DH got the hose out for Amber on Saturday but I missed it as I was in London..I asked if he'd taken photos but of course he hadn't!
I'm slacking..no water or white for me yet.

The war room for the Battle of the Atlantic (water) is in Liverpool and has be re-opened to the public and I thought this statue was lovely. There are so many memorials along the seafront, especially to the Merchant Navy seamen who fought and lost their lives during the war and whose contribution isn't always recognised as it should be. I have this at a different angle where he is looking up the Mersey out to sea.
