Love the leaves Mary, could have lived without the spiders, they would be gonna's if they were in our garden. As are the blackflies that have attacked the cherry tree. Crushed to death I'm afraid as I can't spray them because I'd be frightened of killing the bees or butterflies.

Have any of you encountered the new data protections laws yet? I've just had my first run in and it is pure insanity. Hubby and I have just been to the dentist so I filled in my cashback form but since they've changed the form and I didn't understand (and I'm filling in forms daily) I rang them. Now I have to fill in two completely separate forms, so more paperwork and such a waste of paper. Hubby has to sign his own claim form even though the policy is in my name and I have to fill it in. I can't go into how ludicrous this is without getting angry again, but suffice it to say the other company we use haven't changed a thing. I honestly think this is just to keep people in jobs. Back to my form filling now, this is why I can't find time to craft, too much paperwork.

Spiders catch other bugs so are useful. I try to rescue any indoors and release them outdoors. Plan doesn't work if Darcy gets there first lol

Just the thought of having a spider near me is enough to send me into meltdown. I am terrified of them and come September I don't go near the garden because they take over. I do find myself apologising to them as I kill them though. I hate to do it but needs must I'm afraid. Rats, mice, snakes you name it and I'm fine but those scurrying things are a definite no-no.

I’m with you Mary and Sandra, I would never kill a spider inside or out.
I always catch them in a glass and put them outside.
If you have a phobia, then it’s understandable Susie.

I hate form filling as well. It drives you mad.
Just been out for a lovely meal with DD and DGS.
Unfortunately they have to go back tomorrow. They have a wedding reception to go to .
At least DD planted up the rest of my flower pots for me, and also dug up an big plant
that I wanted to get rid of, so I’m pleased.
I had to buy a vase today, to accommodate the flowers, because I hadn’t got one big enough .

Now you're just showing off about the vase Ellie.

Glad that you had lovely meal, shame that they have to go back but good that you got the flower pots finished off. I've just been checking my neighbour's plants for slug and snails and the snails are chomping their way through his Cosmos, so sad to see the destruction on a nightly basis too.

    Morning.
I’m back from our little trip with the kids. We had a great time, the kids were really good but kept us busy
I introduced Oliver to I Spy books, he had a great time on the journey looking out for allsorts of signs and vehicles. It brought out his competitive side - he wanted to find the things that got more points, like a hearse, a limo, ....
I used to have loads of I spy books as a kid, so pleased that he enjoyed them too
Lizzy didn’t want to go back to mummy when we got back, we must be doing something right !

Denise, thanks for the prompts. I will have a look round and see what I can see.
Mary you are so observant, so many photos already ! Those spiders are amazing, isnt nature wonderful. not sure I want that many running around though ! I would just leave them to it , they don’t do any harm, and they catch those darned flies !
Ellie, what a beautiful bunch of flowers, clever hubbie
Shame DD couldn’t stay longer, glad you have your pots planted up
    Alison
