Well, that's strange, I missed all those comments before and the photo's of your lovely necklaces Sandra, another vote for the one with coral, so delicate.

Love the hedgehog comment Ellie, hope he hasn't got fleas. Nice to have him back safe and sound and a very fruitful fishing expedition from the look of that photo.

I have had a chat with the lovely lady who used to work at our vets. It was one of those 'I won't stay on long...' conversations that lasted quite a while. Funny how you can find so much to talk about with someone you've met maybe twice before. It seems she showed the card I made 10 years ago to people and they love it, I don't even remember it although I do remember her asking if I could make a special one, was it for her daughter perhaps. Anyway, we were so busy chatting I didn't find out exactly what she would like, something to do with notelets so she is ringing tomorrow. I had to laugh, she said she remembers me so well she could pick me out of an identity parade even now. Of course when I told hubby he said "Of course, once seen never forgotten" and I'm not sure he meant that in a nice way.

Problem is, the cards I made then were all done on a programme which I loved but can't use on my Mac so although I'll still have a record of it, I can't open it to see what it looked like. She is going to
e-mail a photo of it to me.

Back to making this birthday card, I haven't got too far because it's been one of those days when the phone and door have been going at the same time. We've just finished watering, hubby did most I was dead-heading our neighbours' gardens and picking strawberries from ours. I did take a photo though.

Oh and yaaay, my sister has managed to get the photo's of her daughter's wedding off her son's old phone and there are some good photo's on there so all she has to do now is send them to me. This will be the first time any of us have seen them since the wedding and the only reason we knew they were there was because I spotted him taking that photo outside the church when the photographer caught him on camera!

I can still see the photo Denise.

Susie, I think that you could strike up a long conversation with anyone
She probably remembers you because of the dogs.
Could you transfer the file to your sisters computer, and
    then open it?

I could and it is a great idea, except that I probably didn't make a proper file name and at the time I was making so many different Christmas cards, mostly A6 and this was A5 but I was making some very special ones for another lady, well I won't go into it on here but suffice it to say I made a lot of cards. If she sends it to me that would be great but I'm not sure if she wants the same thing or something completely different. It is all very interesting though. We'll see what happens tomorrow.

I haven't got very far with this card because my sister keeps sending me photo's and they are lovely and one is funny. Sadly, my nephew has cut their feet off and taken a photo of the trees but what you do see of the bride, her dad and her daughter is great. The funny part is my sister is behind the bride fixing her dress, she just had to photobomb it didn't she! I'll have some fun with the journaling on that one though.

Funnily enough, this lady said I didn't have an animal with me I was just calling for meds as she recalls, what a great memory she has. I honestly don't know how I found the time to make all those cards, especially as I was looking after mum and dad at the time.

This was purely an accident I have to admit. I was taking photo's of all the strawberry plants we have and picked a few an lo and behold I'd picked 6.

And yes, they were every bit as delicious as they look, so sweet they almost tasted as if they'd been dipped in sugar.

The strawberries do look mouth watering Susie. I’ve got some wild ones, but they
    never make much fruit.
You will have to let us see that funny photo.

Look forward to seeing your card Denise, I love holly borders, especially pretty ones.

Ellie I'll either post the photo or put it in a LO and post it then. To be honest, the first time I looked at it I didn't notice my sister, I asked if she was just trying to get in on every photo.

Alison, your frames have arrived today, thank you so much can't wait to try them out. Just been explaining to hubby how they work and he just said to me couldn't you scan them and talk about great minds. I don't have a 12x12 scanner but someone must and that would be worth a try too.
