May Simple Recipes Worksheet + Video

Hi! Welcome to the May 2018 Simple Recipe. Remember they'll be a new one every first Saturday of the month throughout the rest of the year.

As with previous incarnations of Simple Recipes you're given a list of 'ingredients' to base your layout around. All you need to do is create your layout using all the ingredients given. How you do that is up to you but I will include a step by step with a finished layout so if you want to completely copy the sample layout you can do but if you'd rather do your own thing you can do that too as the Recipes are designed to be starting points to kick start your creating. As requested for this year I'll also include a layout video so you can watch a bit of how the sample layout was made. I'll try and include handy things to use like tips and techniques as we go along too.
Have fun with the recipe! Once you've finished your layout upload it to the gallery here or on your blog/ whereever you upload your finished projects too and pop a link up in the comments. If you add your layouts to Instagram tag them with @craftytemplates and it'll send them to me so I can find you that way

This is mine
My favourite colour scheme is to pick the colours from the photo, so this is based on lots of colours.
I made a 6by 4 card for my project life using a travellers notebook mixed media layout as I did for the organisers of the Nsd uks challenges. This was ideal as the photo so used it for this layout.
I forgot the paper folding so quickly made a heart, the link to the gallery shows a close up with the heart included
