Lol..sounds like the boys are being naughty again Susie! You’d better go and rescue DH.
That blue flower looks like and agapanthus yet the description says otherwise. How strange.
Love the name Honey Garlic Plant and it is quite striking.
DH often brings me flowers. Usually on a Sunday when he can buy them on his way home from night shift without queuing...my DH doesn’t do queueing!

    How romantic Elaine
I’ve found another glass vase to share. I love the iridescence of this and had completely forgotten about it. I would have picked this up at the sale

That is very like the vase I posted a week or two ago, it has that Mother of Pearl effect, very pretty Mary.

The boys were waiting to eat so decided to try to climb on hubby's lap all 150 lbs of them.

it is pretty but it has taken over the garden in places but as I don't have too much in my garden I'm not worried just nice to have some colour.

with that vase and the tiny scent bottles that I posted some time back at the beginning of the month I'm trying to get enough pink things for my DLO of May, I didn't want to do it blue as I did January Blue but it would be nice to continue to use things I have posted here IYSWIM

Mary, I love the shape of both the flowers and the leaves, quite beautiful. Does it like shade? We planted these gorgeous holly trees and they are a like a wall across all the back gardens now but they take a lot of light off our back border which used to be a riot of colour in the summer. I must dig out a photo or two. Now, only begonias are happy there although I do have a Bleeding Heart plant but once that finishes flowering the leaves die back and it goes from huge down to nothing.

It grows anywhere Susie. I have some in sun and shade. It seeds all over the place.
I had a lot in a patch on the front, but pulled it out when we changed the garden to
gravel, but the seeds still kept coming up through the gravel.
What I’ve got in now ,are seeds from the original plants.
DH keeps pulling it out, if I don’t watch him

How long does it flower for Ellie? I have the same problem, hubby keeps weeding out perennials. I had a tall Campanula there just over a week ago and now it's gone. He empties pots in his enthusiasm to get an early start on the garden first bit of sunshine and thats the corms gone. He has now been expressly forbidden from touching anything in the garden unless I'm with him, apart from cleaning and painting the deck or fencing that is.

It flowers for ages Susie. Even when the flowers have gone ,the seed heads are good .
If you leave the seed heads until they are brown and dry, then open them up over
a paper bag, you get literally dozens of little black seeds ( Nigella Seeds ) then you
just sprinkle them where you want them to grow , and hey presto next year you
get a new crop. They do look nice when there are a few of them all together.

No doubt they'd all be weeded out by accident by you know who. Worth a try though they are so pretty, just the sort of flower and leaf I'd have on a backing paper.

I saw a plane with a blue tail yesterday and thought I must get that and this is what I caught on camera.
