No proof I didn't buy anything in The Range I'm afraid! Lol
Never mind Elaine, I'll take your word for it this time.

My phobia is spiders although as I have grown older I find I'm not paralysed with fear anymore but I used to be, quite literally. Snakes I like and can hold quite happily and they do feel lovely not a bit as I'd imagined. Wouldn't want to meet one in Australia though. Hubby said we should watch Arachnophobia, try using that immersion technique that cures you of the fear of something. That didn't work and instead now, I always check under the toilet seat having seen that film.

I don't do any gardening as of September because the spiders are all there. I have horse chestnuts scattered round the house and a horse chestnut spray that goes into every nook and cranny. I do kill them and feel really bad about it and apologise as I'm doing it. At one time I wouldn't have been able to move, now I scream so loud even my deaf hubby and dog can hear me and come running.

Funny Elaine, when I left home I told my hubby he had a lot to live up to because my dad was the best spider catcher every - no pressure. Dad loved that.

That sounds like heaven and it's made me hungry now. The cakes look delicious Sandra.

Elaine, have you stolen one of our Old English Sheepdogs, it looks like one from the back, what is it?

Wow, I missed a whole page you have been busy and chatty.

Alison, I take it that was the tension you were talking about and if so, I'm glad to hear things are improving.

So many amazing photo's, I've liked them for now until I can go back and have another good look. Just waiting for the builder to come and fix the tiles after the water leak at the end of the year. He's working at our neighbour's but he may not turn up today so it's a case of hanging around.

Great outdoor drying place you have there Mary,
I bet you can get them dry under there in summer, even if it’s raining.

Spiders don’t bother me. Once in Australia we saw the BIGGEST SPIDER on
the garage wall. It had spun a wed from the car door to the wall, DH attacked
it with a big golf umbrella, so we could get in the car!!
We described it to a friend, and he said it was harmless. It’s the little ones
you have to be careful of.
I have never seen a snake all the time we have been going there, but
DH nearly ran over one with his bike ,on the path!

That card is simply stunning Ellie, so crisp and clean - love it! Love the stamped sentiment. Great poppy stamping too.

I'm with Elaine regarding snakes - cant ever see a picture of them without freaking out. Not keen on spiders but they don't bother me like snakes.

Thank you ladies. I love that butterfly die.

Mary, brilliant solution to your transport problem.
It’s a good job you don’t have far to go.
It wouldn’t be any good for me, I wouldn’t be able to see where I was going.

Lovely little dog Elaine. I think shaggy dogs are gorgeous.
They look such little rogues, but cute at the same time

I've had to open the site twice so I can refer back to each photo without losing my message.

I love that photo of your dad on his bike with sidecar Ellie. My hubby's dad was motorbike mad and used to spend his afternoon off repairing bikes. Hubby's mum made him get a sidecar after he'd had a severe accident. You know the ball and socket of your hip, well he managed to break the ball part and always limped after that. So his wife made him get a sidecar to slow him down.

Two gorgeous photo's of you and your DH to be, as he was then. What a gorgeous couple you make and I wonder how many people can say that their spouse is still the love of their life after 53 years. That is so lovely.

Lovely photo's of your dad with your girls Sandra, how precious are they! This is why we need to hang on to those old photo's with the wonderful memories they bring back.

As Ellie so rightly said, that a good haul Alison. I really love those frames, I feel a trip to the Range coming on.

That LO looks great Mary, no doubt it will be appearing the gallery shortly, I'll look forward to seeing that. What a great place to hang your washing, you don't have to worry about it suddenly raining and you still benefit from the fresh air.

Glad to hear you got a replacement TV Sheila. Did you faint because you hadn't been well and went out too soon? Hope you're feeling okay now, take care.x

Just read your comment about the snake Ellie and I feel positively sick. Couldn't tell my sister that, just the idea of the web makes me shudder.

Elaine, your doggy is definitely quite a bit smaller than an OES but he makes up for it in cuteness. I'm like Ellie, I love the shaggy coated dogs, probably why I love ours but I also like the soft silky coated ones too. Oh I just like animals. I'd shove one of ours in a tumble dryer but they'd break it.

I think I'm up to date. I've been struggling with the colouring in of the poppy stamps. I've used a variety of card with Spectrum Aqua pens and Tattered Angels inks, they all look too coloured. The TA's put less colour on but I prefer the colours of the Spectrum Aqua brushes. I'll probably end up going back to my Promarkers. I think I'll see if there are some tutorials for using these, that should help. Mind you, they make it look so easy and it's not, especially if you are trying to get the shading right.

I think I've caught up, no photo's from me just yet. I would like to find the one of hubby's dad with his bike, but he has so few family photo's which is very sad.
