    Snap 2018 February.

Sorry to steal your thunder Mary, but 'Good Morning Snappers'. I know I found it hard this past month taking photo's because the weather has been so awful and cold so I've tried to think of prompts that can be taken indoors or outside, your choice.

Being the month of Valentine's Day I couldn't let it pass without a touch of romance so...

Love - This can be a follow-on from old wedding photo's which were being shared in January, it would be really lovely to see more wedding photo's or new photo's, any simple thing or gesture or anything else which speaks of love.

    Patterns.

    Something You Did Today.

I hope these will get you thinking and to start things off I have just taken a couple of photo's.

I've just finished the back of a pattern for a little boys jumper and I love this pattern and I'll take a photo of the actual pattern itself tomorrow. I love the pattern on our quilt, this next one is just a small part of it because hubby was in bed asleep - not a pretty sight! Final photo is something I did today, yes, just look at the time, I filled my new knitting basket with yarns I've bought, this lilac is gorgeous in daylight but didn't want to wake hubby by putting more lights on, I'm such a caring wife. Have fun!x

Nice prompts Susie. A lot to think about.
    Like you’re examples too.

I must look for those Dies. They are lovely I wonder if the big online store sells them ?

Great start ladies, talking about killling two birds with one stone Ellie. Dots, stripes and an iron, pity the other prompt wasn't reflections because I can see the reflection of your iron in the display case opposite. Even the bottom of the iron has a pattern. You also have the lattice of wooden fence and the brickwork, so many patterns to choose from.

I bought them online Ellie. I signed up to Topcashback and checked to see if they had any offers so went through to the store. I was surprised at how cheap they in price are for the quality.

Look forward to seeing your pps Mary, did you see the list on the old thread?

Wow Susie, you are observant. I hadnít noticed the other patterns !
Turned out to be a good photo then
I will look at that site .

    Hereís another one foró
    What Iíve been doing today.

Iíve just been faffing, and put this card together.
What do you think? I havenít stuck anything down yet.
Not sure if two butterflies are too much!!
Thought it looked plain, so put it on pp to see if it made a difference.
Sentiment will go in the bottom corner.

Oh that is really gorgeous, is that die from TW, I've seen it recently somewhere but can't think where? What about embossing the white background, with a very simple embossing design. This is just my opinion, but I think the design on the card is so stunning, especially against the white that it doesn't need the pp, I'd try embossing the white card first. It's such a pretty die and I was tempted to buy it but I thought I'd get out my TL dies which are like this first and see how they look. Ooh, if the white embossed isn't how you want to go, what about a touch of red behind to pick out the lovely red in the flowers and butterflies. This is so gorgeous, I think with what you've cut and coloured a simple sentiment is all it needs. Can't wait to see it all stuck down.

By the way Ellie, it turned out to be an excellent photo, you couldn't have got more patterns in if you'd tried.

Love the prompts for February Susie. Here is a love one from me taken last summer when I travelled down to Essex to have a family reunion with all my cousins.

Fantastic photo Sandra, what a lovely family gathering and so nice that you are a close family. I was just saying to one of my cousins the other day that we only see each other at funerals; we've decided to have a get together in the spring.

I have a few knitting patterns to share. The piece of knitting above i the back from this pattern which I love and is so easy to knit. The next one is one I'm about to make-up, so all the knitting is done but the worst part is the making up.

Thanks for that Susie. I have put some red card behind the white,
and it looks so much better.
    Who are TW?
The card is an embossed circle and leaves. It’s just the flowers and butterflies that are Dies.
Yes ,you are right , it was another freebie

    Oops we crossed there Susie.
Like the patterns, especially the pastel colours on the second one.
I agree the sewing bit is tedious.

Look forward to seeing the card and maybe that's where I've seen the embossing folder, in W H Smith's, was it a recent purchase? I know I've seen something very like that, very recently. Can't wait to see it, even unglued it looked brilliant!

I'll message you with the name but the first is The.

I haven't used that yarn, I've used a white, pink and lilac, it came recommended but not sure until it's sewn up if it will look as good as I'd hoped. The boy's pattern is gorgeous though and hubby loves that style of neck which is very fashionable again now so he would like a jumper like that, bigger size though!

I might be responsible for saying where you can get the dies from think I mentioned it on Claires die cutting machine post. The dies cut like a dream. Just wish the stores round here would have a decent selection.
