Here's a photo of mine & Paul's wedding cake. It is 3 bell shaped cakes and I made them and put the white icing on then my friends DIL made the flowers and put them on the cakes for me. Paul bought me the teddy bear bride & groom thinking they could go on top of the cake, but we still found a place for them on the day.

See how all the leaves and droop, I really can tell the temperature outside by the Castor Oil plant.

Actually Ellie, Rosie's coat was the easiest to groom, you wouldn't believe it would you. It wasn't a 'good' OES coat going by show standards, it was quite thin but she had lots of it. She didn't have the dense wiry texture the grey has although the white is so soft. I loved her coat, we could groom her in an hour or so ready for a bath whereas these, especially the young one have hard coats to get through. Our old boy has a thinnish coat but the other has this thick undercoat and no sooner do you groom him than he looks a mess again. You notice her fringe is cut though, nice to be able to see where you're going.

For us the dogs are pets and I hate the way they are groomed for showing with the coats standing up on end, hubby and I think it makes the dogs look stupid.

Just got in from shopping and our neighbour has all his stuff so he's a happy bunny. Back into the thermals now although why I took them off to go out I don't know.

Sheila, I love the way your heart sculpture stands out amidst the snow, so beautiful and shows enduring love.

Yes I did notice her fringe, and that you could see her eyes
My DD has a caster oil plant and it droops when cold as well
We had one, but it got too big, so I dug it out.

Lovely cakes Sheila. Unusual shape, lovely flowers.

Here is a photo of what I've been doing today.
    Sorting silks.jpg

I'm doing a craft fair in Birmingham next month where the BBC will film me again for the TV programme and yesterday when Yvonne & Doug came round they got some of my craft boxes out of the shed for me to sort out and bag up for selling at the craft fair

You should make quite a bit out of the thread alone Sheila, can't wait to hear how you get on, good luck with it.

We finally had some snow this evening so last thing we went out walking the boys. It was late and very quiet and it was freezing but lovely. I had 5 layers of clothing and then my coat!!! The boys were not impressed at all.

Lots of fab photos since yesterday morning!
Amazing cake Sheila..well done on such a beautiful make. I'm blown away by all those embroidery threads Sheila..so many of the same or similar colour. Did you used to have a shop or something? Hope you do sell lots at the craft fair.
Very many good snow photos..mine melted a lot yesterday and we didn't have any overnight but it's snowing this morning, although not heavily.
DIL sent me this picture of Miss A having a ball on a sledge with her childminders daughter. She's the one in front in the middle sledge.
I spent the day yesterday crafting and made my layout for the PhotoGenics challenge. Today I'm planning on making my Mothers Day cards and some birthday cards.
