Hello Ladies, I love all your cards and your BTCR ones as well, I have been busy I made 3 male birthday cards and 5 Christmas cards using the January prompt and have made 5 BTCR but still haven't figured out how to resize and crop on my I-pad so can't upload anything yet but I will some day. I am going to have a go with my I-pad this afternoon but even so I am enjoying all the inspiration that is around on here at the moment. Looking forward to next months prompt as I have 4 female cards to make, and have an idea maybe for next months BLCR. I love all your sentimental stamps Denise, it's not something that I buy as I am US at neat stamping

I've been loving the cards on this thread so far! Only fair I should share my main make for this challenge, plus a couple of others that fit the bill:

Yep, there's been a lot of stamping in January so far...

They are all gorgeous Nat! My absolute favourite, is the bottom one. It makes me smile just to look at it, that background paper is gorgeous. Have I seen the happy before and whose is it anyway, it is fabulous!

Love that embossed background Denise, great cards.
Nat, love all your cards, just love your style.

Chris, you can crop your photos on the iPad using the edit option on each photo. I then resize mine for the gallery using the BatchResizer app. I don’t bother resizing if I’m just posting them here in the thread

I’ve made some cards for the BTCR, some include some lovely wordy die cuts that are appropriate for this challenge, think some of you may recognise the dies

I did stamp it Susie! it’s the same background stamp used for the black card. Hope to get a lot of mileage from that stamp set! It’s called Blooms Fill-in by Concord and 9th.

Thanks for the lovely comments all - nice to have got off to a good crafty start.

The photo really does show up the lovely embossed card Denise and the dove finishes it off perfectly, it doesn't need anything else at all. Beautiful card stock too.

Another set of gorgeous Christmas cards Alison, I love the different dies, is the Happy Christmas stamped? It is just perfect for the cards.

Amazing background designs Nat and they look so different with the change of colour. I've never heard of Concord and 9th - sometimes I feel like I'm living under a rock.

I'm just playing at the moment, trying to perfect the heat embossing. I was wondering why the allergies were kicking off so badly again and then realised - EMBOSSING POWDER IS BASICALLY DUST! Okay, it's sparkly and pretty but it is still dust, my nose doesn't understand the difference.

I've tried the anti-static pad by Woodware and that makes such a mess, the powder (dust) goes everywhere. I've also tried tumble dryer sheets but if anyone can recommend something better please let me know.

Off to knit now whilst my inks are drying.

More stunning cards and backgrounds ladies, perhaps I shouldn't show mine. I have sorted out how to crop and have downloaded an app to resize, with a little more play I will be able to upload some sooooon.

Hoping to see your cards soon Chris.
Here’s the two I made over the weekend.
The butterfly one is for my Aussie friends birthday, and the other one is for my 16 yr old DGS. I might add a Number 16 at the bottom, because it looks a bit bare!
