It’s a right faff Mary. Best thing is to remember to edit any portrait photos before uploading, it doesn’t have to be much just a tiny crop or something, once you have used the edit option they seem to stay the right way up. Don’t ask me why ! Landscape photos are fine.
Changing it after you have posted is a nightmare, in the end I just deleted them all today and uploaded them again !

    Great prompts Alison.
They do seem to be having fun.
I wish that my DH could cook. It would be a change to sit down
to a meal not cooked by me!!!!!!

What brilliant happy photo's Alison and such a lovely kick off to the New Year. Lizzy's face in that first one is just wonderful and then the concentration. What a lovely memory captured forever.

I don’t cook at all now, or do the food shopping, it’s fab.
Although I do have to do the cleaning up, he’s not learned that skill !

    Lol..typical man!
My DH doesn't often cook but he does very infrequently. He's good at clearing up though..along his.. I had a new dishwasher before Christmas..and he still won't use it..he washes up by hand..it drives me nuts! It takes twice as long to fill it leaving unwashed dishes for longer then necessary..grr! Shouldn't complain really.

Yep me too, I shouldn’t complain, because he does do all the clearing up, and
he uses the dishwasher. He washes pans and baked on things by hand , and
also rinses everything, before it goes in the dishwasher
The only thing he can do, is beans on toast in the microwave , for himself!!, if I’m not there.
    I don’t like beans !!
But I love him all the same

I don't like beans either Ellie, mum could never get us to eat them when we were kids. Funnily enough though, when my sister and I went off on our travels back in the 70's, I remember we were up a mountainside in Spain, never did figure out where because we were always lost... anyway, we opened a tin of baked beans and ate them cold from the can and as we stood there eating I remember us both saying "We can never let mum know about this."

Hubby washes up but I often have to re-do it. If I complain he says I could always do it myself, to which I reply - you could always learn how to do it properly, practice makes perfect. Funny how as old married couples you say the same things over and over again.

He loves to come up with new recipes for me not to cook. I used to cook up a storm years ago. I'd have a day of cooking, Boeuf Bourguignon, Coq au Vin, curries, lentil soup with bacon bones (his favourite) and there was always a risotto which I love in there, all sorts of stuff then bag it up and freeze most of it and keep the rest as portions for the week. I was so organised and then I got M.E. and didn't have the energy to stand let alone cook and couldn't bear the smell of food cooking. Still can't stand the smell of certain foods, they make me feel sick.

Hubby would never starve though, he can cook basic stuff. He is our salad maker as I eat salad almost every single night, I love it, no dressing, just the taste of the fresh salad, he has his smothered in dressings. He is also my sister's bacon butty maker when she stays which they have to have and clear away before I get up as the smell of bacon makes me feel ill. Love the taste, can't stand the smell of it being cooked though.

Oh you and me both Susie. I LOVE SALADS. I would eat them every day, and so would DH.
If I say what do you want for dinner, he will say, salad and something.
We donít like dressing on it either.
I do like a good crispy bacon bread cake.now and again.

Hereís my Happy photo. Not strictly kosher, as it was taken at the end of last month,
but I am being Happy !
