When you make say, a square, is there a way of making it a precise size. I'm not explaining it very well but when you drag out the square and you want it to be exactly 3cm but it always just jumps over or under that figure, is there a way can you get it spot on.

I'm using V4 of studio (if you're using V3 the layout will look different as the icons are along the top) but you can make it the size you want it by using the transform tool

Doreen is that in the beta version you are using?

I am using V4.1.201 it is just a small box and to change anything I have to use the 'enter' key on my keyboard. There is no apply box to click on.

V.3 was a lot easier.

I am also using V4.1.201 but mine appears to be laid out differently to yours? Mine actully shows the size in the bar (see the pictures above) mine is the business edition so not sure if that is what the difference is?

How strange. I have to say it is much easier with it showing in the top bar. I just go up and change it from there.

Yes beta version Margaret. I use the enter key too mine is also BE. I always use the side toolbar for sizing in fact I use the side toolbar most of the time

I'm using v3 still, I don't see the point of updating as I only have a basic portrait and ordinary Studio software and the updates don't add anything for me.
I can't believe I've had two machines for years and never needed to precisely change the size of anything before.

Bobble have you managed to find the icon that opens the window you want in V3. From memory it is top toward the right hand side. I think just after the rotate icon.
