    Premium Blade

I took my premium blade apart to clear the blade of bits and now can't put it back together. I can't get the outer sleeve to go all the way up so that the black band immediately beneath the red line is covered and the blade is exposed at the bottom. Is there a knack to this, if so does anyone know it? Be very grateful for any help which will restore my blade to serviceability - it wasn't cheap!

I use the premium blades a lot and only the nose cap should need screwing off for cleaning, and that should be simple to get back on afterwards. The outer sleeve doesn't come off normally as far as I'm aware.

Edit: I've just forced one apart as a test to see if I could replicate what you describe and can now see why you are struggling to reassembling it, I don't think it is meant to come apart like that, only the cap should be screwed off. However, you should be able to reassemble it if you screw the inner blade cap as tight as it can go, then line the dial up so the 10 is in line with the red line and press it together firmly. It takes quite a bit of force to push them back together, and it will only go back when the red line is lined up with the 10 but given enough force it should clip back on and then work again as normal.

Thank you Brian, I'm not sure how it came apart, it wasn't my intention to dismantle it but I was having trouble removing the nose cap and suddenly the blade was totally exposed (and it certainly needed cleaning). However I am still unable unable to reassemble it.
