Oh Denise, you made me laugh
Thank you for finding that out for me.

I've been out today too Susie. We went to a garden centre that we hadn't
been to before. It was massive and had some lovely plants, as well as some
different Christmas things. It also had a nice cafe. But no photos from me today.

    Lovely trees Mary.

That could be classed as men at work Sandra! Mind you, I'd probably hiding in the van from the cold if I were them.

Love the Christmas decs everyone. I didn't post the ones I took last week or at least not all of them, must do that.

A town black and white the railway hotel all newly renovated and it is actually grey and white

This is the real colour of the railway hotel as you can see it really is grey and white and if it had been overcast today I wouldn't have needed to change the photos to b&w

Lovely photo's Mary and lovely buildings too.

I am not having much luck with this and can't believe I forgot to take the best street scene of the lot, hubby and dog being thronged by people. They wanted to stroke the dog, weren't interested in hubby of course. After we've been to the vet's I pop into Sainsbury's and he sits outside with whichever dog has decided to bleed us dry financially, this time it was the insane one. Before I could get the trolley and into the shop there was already a group of people round the pair of them and I never thought to take a photo!!!

Anyway, I did take one of the old Alder Hey Hospital being dismantled but it was dark so it's not too good. It is right next door to our vets. Would have been a better idea to get a photo of the new hospital but didn't think of that.

This is one of Picton Clock from the car, which would have been okay if the pole hadn't been in the way. I took it quickly without glasses so didn't notice the pole, but if you look closely there's a white van man doing something so that has to count. Of course, you may need your specs to see him, bottom left corner.

Susie you make me laugh . Loved your photo of the very interesting pole, and the
    Clock behind
I can see the van man if I zoom in, so that does count

Ellie it counts as far as I'm concerned but it's Maggie's rules at the moment so the jury's out on that one. To be honest, even I can't see the man in the photo and I know he's there!

You can just about make out the Art Deco building behind the clock which is now a co-op but used to be a cinema and where my mum and dad used to go when they were courting. Aaaah!
