I took these from the bedroom window, my neighbour has lots of autumn colours in his garden. It's rather overgrown now but hubby and I aren't up to dealing with it at the moment.

    Perfect Autumn colours. Lovely photos.
I like the overgrown effect. You get more of an impact.

Evening everyone, Denise, please be more careful (I'm a fine one to speak), lol. I still don't feel much better but want to be ok for the weekend because there's a party at the social club on Saturday and Sunday I'm hoping to do one of my craft groups. Today I bought the car down to my place and put everything in it that I want to get rid of, so it's no longer cluttering up the place, but after I did it I felt awful so had a lie down on the sofa & fell asleep briefly. Yesterday I did some more to Yvonne's album. Sorry not contributed yet with photo's, but I will try tomorrow.

You made me laugh when you said you'd move by me Denise. Just spent hours trying to sort out one of my neighbours energy deals and got him a better deal than I did for myself! You'd be very welcome here, I'll let you know when a house goes up for sale shallI? Funnily enough, I was on to British Gas sorting out the neighbour's energy and guess where I was through to - Capetown!

Is that a type of Lacewing insect, they eat all the aphids so are great for the garden.

Congratulations on your Wedding Anniversary Denise! Lovely photo of your beautiful bouquet and gorgeous pussycat. I love that pale ginger I just want to bury my face in his fur.

Sheila, it sounds like you are far from well just yet, so take it easy - you've been told!

    Happy Anniversary Denise.
Love your bouquet. They have Proteus growing in Australia as well, and I love
seeing them. Hope you're not too sore today, after your fall.
That's some big bug. It looks like it's trying to mimic a leaf.

Sheila, hope you feel better tomorrow, and can enjoy the weekend party.

I have no idea what the insect is but hope it's a good one
My eye is black n blue and I have a birthday bbq to go to Sunday though I said I would just pop in for an hour as it's right at the time the animal feed times start at 5 and finish 7 ish when Boris the duck goes into the chicken run I close the gate there and lock him in safe for the night he is the easiest of the animals but have to get up early as it gets light to let him out could do with an automatic gate
Well done getting a good deal for your neighbour that was coincidental ending up.in cape town wasn't it I often get people from China I think and can't understand a word of the accent

I'm sure your animals would wait for a hour or two for their feed,
while you enjoy the BBQ. Or feed them a little earlier.
    Hope your eye is ok.
I had a black eye once. I was in hospital with a drip in my arm, went to the
bathroom and promptly fainted onto a tiled floor, hence the black eye!
    It lasted for about 3weeks.

Denise, I'd be putting blackout blinds in the chicken run!

I know what you mean about the timing for feeding though. If one of our boys goes past his dinner time or his breakfast time he vomits bile, so if we are out in the afternoon and know we will be back after 6pm we give them a small amount of their food to tie them over. That way, he isn't sick and they still get another small meal later which they love.

The dogs make us laugh because you give them the same food three times a day, seven days a week and every time you get the same reaction of utter joy and excitement. They literally bounce round the room, they're so happy. Hubby reckons they think 'Oh great, it's fillet steak again', yet it's just the same old Burns dog food every time, dogs are so easy to please. Now cats on the other hand... they will eat a food with joy one minute and the next meal look at you as if you are trying to poison them, they can be so fussy.

Oh another one here who has had black eyes. Once as a child and a girl bully just decide to punch me over and over again and second time when I fell because of the M.E. co-ordination can be terrible and instead of putting my hands forward to break my fall they went backwards and I landed on my nose and one knee. I remember lying there thinking I was going to need the fish slice to scrape my face off the floor. Still have problems with the broken nose to this day.
