Morning everyone. I put a long post on here the other day, but it isn't here - don't know what happened. Susie, thank you for your post - I don't know what has triggered my brain into dreaming like this. I was talking to a friend last night and the same thing happened to her when she lost her Mum and then again when her Dad died - and it was 2 years after losing them, which is the same for me. Last night I slept really well and didn't have any dreams, (thank goodness)!
Denise, Brandy is a long haired black kitten and he has huge eyes. He is so cute. I'm hoping my friend will send me a photo of him because I forgot to take my phone out with me. I'd forgotten how playful kittens are, lol.
Elaine, those photo's are stunning. How did your DIL get on with her first session of Chemo? Are you feeling better now? Hope so.
I've done that Sheila, long post which doesn't appear. I think perhaps I have forgotten to click 'post quick reply' and then closed things down and lost the post. It drives me mad because half the time I can't be bothered typing it all again. Anyway, I'm glad your distressing dreams have stopped.
I did promise a few autumn photo's which I took yesterday on our walk.
Gorgeous colours Susie. The yellow is really striking, such a lovely display.
I have one, I took today. Not immediately recognised as Autumnal, but it
is red
My DH is not romantic by any stretch of the imagination!!. But he does surprise me
at times. Yesterday he went up to his clubs fishing pond, just to see " if anything was doing" !!!!
and by the side of the lake was a rose bush with a few flowers still blooming.
So he cut one off and brought it home for me
I wish I knew what it was called, because it has the most amazing scent.
Ellie
Aww thats lovely Ellie
I hate it when you type a long long post and it doesnt appear I thought I had posted about the cake celebrations Susie and Autumn ones today
and sheffield park Elaine yes Amber always smiling
and love your window box Mary
Pleased you had a better night Sheila look forward to Brandy photo
Yes it is Susie. I took another photo today, as it has fully opened now.
I cannot describe the scent, it's so strong you can smell it as soon as you
walk in the room.
Ellie
How lovely, especially the fact that you can smell the fragrance, it is so rare these days to have flowers that smell as they should.
I was at the hairdresser's today and took photo's of her dog again, what a bouncy bundle of fluff it is. She eventually fell asleep on me. I'll post a photo even if it doesn't fit the prompts.
I should be able to get photo's on Saturday though. We are doing the Memory Walk for Alzheimer's and it is a night walk which is why I can do it. Usually they are in the day which as you know is no use to me whatsoever. We have our t-shirts, though they'll be covered up. We also have glow-sticks but the light up bunny ears which my sister ordered haven't turned up yet. I want a photo of hubby wearing them. It is all to raise money for Alzheimer's and we had an e-mail on Wednesday to say that between then and Saturday another 1000 people will be diagnosed with Alzheimer's/Dementia - how scary is that. They ask you to say who you are walking for which is of course mum, but it is also for all our other friends who have Alzheimer's or Dementia, some of whom are only in their 60's.
Anyway, since it is down at the waterfront I hope that I will be able to get some reflections photo's, so watch this space.
Susie, I do hope your walk goes well. Well done for taking up the challenge.
We all know someone who has got, or who has had Alizheimers disease.
It's a terrible thing , and more so for the family's who have to watch their
loved ones deteriorating. Someone we know has now gone into a home,
because her sister can no longer cope. It's so sad as she was such a strong
independent lady.
. Hope you have fun on your walk and raise lots of money for a worthwhile cause.
Ellie

Enjoy the walk and hope the weather is kind its been rainy I know but forecast good for the weekend Such a worthy cause
