The letters are by Making Memories, called Puffa Alphas.
I've had them for years, so I don't know if they make them anymore.

Oh thank you Elaine. It just has one at the top but could I find one in pink, oh no. The white one is pretty but it doesn't look right.

Ellie, I liked the glossy look of them, I suppose you could take ordinary alphas and glaze them though. Must try that on some of mine.

Elaine, your cards are lovely, especially the circles tree, shame it's such a messy activity. Could you cut the trees out and put on another card, or add stars/ snowflakes or bling over the bits you don't like, or the greeting maybe ?

Ellie, lovely bright card for you DGS, I agree, those letters are lovely

Elaine, it's hard finding advent calendar gifts for the little ones isn't it. Lizzy still has a tendency to put things in her mouth too ! I've been doing a family advent for the family to share for the last few years, think I may wait another year before doing one just for Lizzy, they Already get enough chocolate ones !

Oh lord.. Fortunately Amber doesn't put stuff in her mouth, she never has.. Even when she was a baby! I bought a few little hair slides and mini scrunchies today..so I've made a start! I will buy a bag of chocolate gold coins too so that'll do a few more. She won't have a chocolate calender as well so it'll be safe to get those.
Thanks for the idea about covering up the blemishes.. I hadn't thought of that! Trust me Ellie.. It doesn't rub off regardless of what they say!
Susie.. Can you PM me your address again and I'll get some in the post. Hopefully one will work.

Great idea of covering up any messy bits, I'd hang a picture on it, it's what we do when we mess up hanging wall paper!

Will send you the address Elaine, thanks again.

Like you Elaine, I'm not entirely satisfied with this one.
The glue is supposed to dry clear but you can still see small
amounts on the sentiment, which was cut for me by Susie.
It's too delicate to take off, it will rip. The card stock is a bit shiny, so that's
    the problem!

How frustrating Ellie. It's very pretty from what I can see..have you got any shortsighted friends! Lol
I've been making Christmas cards...I made four red ones and four green ones..but I'll put them all in here even though the red ones don't count

To be honest, they probably won't notice Elaine, but I do!

    I love your Christmas cards.
I like the juxtaposition of the Christmas Tree and the White tree trunks,
very effective. Is the Christmas Tree a stamp or a die. What ever it is ,it's lovely.

Thanks Denise, I tried to not put too much glue on, but it was still a bit too much.
    It's was tricky!

Thank you. The tree is a stamp from Stampin Up called Once Upon a Tree I think? The embossing folder is a Sizzix one.

    Lovely cards.
Ellie, it’s not very noticeable, you’ll be fine. As you say they’ll probably not notice, it’s only you who knows
Elaine, the stamp and embossing work really well together

Well, I love both cards. Love the way you've made the batch of cards Elaine and as Ellie said, I love the christmas tree and the tree trunks, they look simple and elegant.

Ellie, I love that card. I do the trick off the tele where they smear glue on the back of their hand and pat the die cut on to it. But Stick It is very good for fiddly dies. I can cut one for you with Stick it on and then you peel the backing away and it is ready to be stuck down. Obviously, you cut the card and Stick It paper together so you'd need the die, have you ever tried it? I can't see anything wrong with the card to be honest, it is just lovely.
