I have another photo for you to guess and this one is probably easier

and one for the architecture not exactly a monument or statue but a strangely shaped building that was put up a couple of years ago at the entrance to the Orbital shopping centre

Okay, I have missed such a lot.

Let's see Mary first, hubby suggested a wooden spirit level, is he getting warmer? I feel like this is something my dad might have had years ago, the wood looks so familiar. Muffin looks so cute and so very comfy, she has literally crammed herself into that box. Obviously the box is as comfy as the slippers. Your last one Mary, I'm guessing garden chair or shopping trolley but not sure about either. What a beautiful building and a great photo too!

Ellie, I was thinking shotgun cartridge but they are usually red sides I think and that looks shiny. I can see the cork board reflected in the sides. You're probably closer with the starting pistol idea Mary.

I literally haven't had the camera out today and you know that is not like me. We didn't get back until almost 8.30pm and the boys were not best pleased. Food helped with that though.

I do have statue to share, but this is a photo I took a while ago and may have shown it already but it is so poignant and I do love it. It is of Noel Chavasse whose father was the Bishop of Liverpool and it is a wonderful sculpture.

Meant to say Denise, how wonderful that you got your necklace back and how odd that you should get it right now to share with us. What is the necklace made of Denise, is it Amber or something like that, it is certainly lovely?

I'm not sure if I've shared this but guess what it is? You may well guess so I'll post another but this next one is quite an old photo.

Mary, my dad had an old (well, it would be wouldn't it) wooden set square, I think that's what it was called. Is it something like that? I feel like it is an old tool of some kind and I feel like I really should know what it is. Of course, this will drive me nuts and I won't sleep now - what have I started!

    Good morning Snappers
what have you started indeed Susie
first of all my photo was of two tools, old yes but modern ones are used today and you probably use them every time you scrap a page but they will probably not be made of wood, the new ones that is.
Here is the one I use every time I scrap

    guessing time
Susie is that first one a bottle brush? and the second one the shell of a tortoise?

Oh and yes the plaid picture is my shopping trolley with the shadow of the handle on it

my one for today reminded me of the one that has got us all guessing but mine is not noisy and has nothing to do with sport

Boy, I can't keep up with you lot !! Some great photos. I was going to say ruler, your modern picture threw me though ! I rarely use a ruler when scrapping
I would agree with Mary, your pics look like a bottle brush and a tortoise shell Susie.
Mary, is your new one the end of a hot water bottle ?

I was laid in bed this morning trying to think of something I could photograph, didn't really come up with much. I'll be on the look out while I'm pottering round today

It's a shotgun cartridge. They come in all colours now, apparently!!

Will try and guess Mary's when I come back, It's such a nice day we are going for a tootle somewhere.

    Lovely statue Susie.
