Oh wow, you've all been busy today ! I'm sure I posted here this morning but can't see it now, how frustrating !
So I'll say it again if I can remember ....
Lovely pics of you and kitty Mary, and love your snap LO . The leaf looks fab, well done on catching all those rain droplets.
Elaine, you'll enjoy the view all the more when that machine moves ! If it was our ex farmer neighbour I would have sad he'd put it there deliberately !
Susie, tha celery stalk does look like a yummy dessert, even after reading your comments I had to look twice to realise that was growth in the middle and not a garnish !! I will have to buy a celery to do that though, maybe DH would like some
Ellie, love those unicorns at Doddington, they do a good lunch there don't they. Cobbs country store is where we go for all things Horse and chicken, a great little store.
Denise, glad your kitty has returned. We thought we'd lost DS's cat last week but she'd just tucked herself into a box up high so we couldn't see her ! I love garden centres too, im taking the kids to see Shrek at one of our nearby garden centres on Thursday, hope they're good so I get chance to look at the plants too

    Thank you ladies.
Lovely photos of cats Denise. I like the little black and white one.

Yes Alison, they do lovely lunches. Their fish and chips are really very nice,
    as are their sandwiches.
Cobbs is an interesting shop. DH got a really nice jacket there.
But this time we went for bird seed and a container to put inside our barrel pond,
Which is getting weed in, and we can't kill it because of the frogs.
So a plastic liner might do the trick, hopefully.
Have you been to the garden centre near Gunthorpe Bridge?
They do some nice plants and also it has a nice cafe.
    It's Timmermans Garden Centre.

Yes, we took mum to timmermans last year, we don't get over that way very often, it does have a good cafe. I might go over in a month or two and see what they have in for Christmas I'm finding the c word keeps popping into my mind recently, maybe I'm telling myself to get started on things so I don't leave it too late !!

You do go to some interesting places Ellie. I love the photos, the cows do look real at first glance and the unicorns are amazing.

So glad the cat turned up Denise, she is beautiful. You are so good looking after all those cats.

Alison, we had the same problem when we took in a kitten. It was about 12 weeks and some boys had been using it as a football. My neighbour's sister turned up with the kitten but they didn't have anywhere for it to go, I said we'd take it for one night and of course it stayed. The next day it went missing and we had everyone in our little Vale looking for it. We couldn't figure out how it could have got out because the only window open was in the kitchen and he was too little to climb or jump up. We all spent hours searching and he was lying on the bookshelf about a foot off the ground, flat out across the books watching all the panic no doubt. That's cats for you.

I have a photo of my other hibiscus, the white one isn't quite ready to bloom yet.

And here is my actual celery now. They all seem to be at different stages. I've eaten one and the rest need a little longer but I'll just cut a piece when needed.

Your Hibiscus is beautiful Susie, such a lovely colour.
The celery looks healthy too. I had never thought of
    growing it in a container,

He looks a cheeky monkey. How many cats do you have.
Here is my barrel pond. I'm afraid the hostas have been decimated,
and the grass is looking worse for wear. But all in all the plants have
    been good this year.
    Ellie.
