Exclamation The 2017 Pantone card challenge - August

    Morning everyone!

So here we are continuing with the Autumn/Fall 2017 Pantone colours and this month delving back into the world of blue!

The Marina and Navy Peony shades in the Pantone spectrum provide a lot of scope for summery cards but also more striking interpretations thanks to that navy shade.

As always additional hints and tips are included in my monthly blog post - here's the one for August.

The full instructions and details for this year's challenge can be found here in the January post.

And past prompts will be listed under the tag 2017 Pantone card challenge on my blog.

Also for those of you on Instagram, I'll be using the hashtag #2017pantonecardchallenge to share my projects there, so feel free to use this tag on Instagram as well!

So here are the prompt images for this month's Pantone colours...

You're welcome - I quite like the options these two shades give you. Cornishware blue stripes would make for a lovely background to a beachy card... and I'm always fond of navy blue florals.

What a great card, I love the anchors away sentiment. Is it for someone who is into sailing Ellie?

Yes Susie. It's for my Son in Law. He has his own boat.
A Northumbrian Cobble, of which he's very proud

Just had to Google that as I'd never heard of it, how lovely and definitely the perfect card for a sailor.

    Thanks Susie.
He's put a lot of work into restoring it, so he should be proud
