They are keen to get 4.1 out of beta as soon as possible hence all the updates but their opinion is that beta 4.1 is more stable than the current release 4.0.105.

That's good news Shirley, I have to say I am liking V4.1 so far, especially the font changes and being able to see any glyphs in the program without having to use a microscope to see them as character maps! That's a definite improvement. The warp feature is good as well, I had a very quick play with that the other day. A lot of people seem to be having problems with the current release, but they won't give the beta a try which is a pity.

Yes it is a pity cause they can always go back to a previous version if they aren't happy with the beta. I really like 4.1 too

I prefer it to V3 too. The way I look at it the more who try it the better because we might come across different errors that can be reported

I have updated to v 4.1.163 and have found that my auto blade is not adjusting to the correct setting - it goes to 0 every time. I have overcome this problem by swiftly putting it on pause before cutting starts and adjusting the blade manually. It works but it is a bit of a pain, I had no probs with the auto blade on the previous version so I'm guessing it must be something to do with a gremlin in the updated version. Has anyone else had this problem and should I be reporting it to SA?

I only have a Cameo 2 so can't use the auto blade in my machine Sylvia but would definitely report it as a problem.

Mine is the original Cameo so I'm not able to comment on the problem you're having Sylvia hopefully there will be a new update to fix it soon as they seem to be coming every few days at the moment
