Thanks Mary, no I need to keep my hands free for the camera. I'm going to take a photo shortly, which isn't strictly speaking summer but it is a bit more necessary at this time of year - watch this space...

I've just remembered I took one the other day, well, I took about a dozen just to get one photo and even then it isn't that good but I'll post it anyway, 'cos it's cute.

I wish you could see this little fella's/girl's face, so cute. But I swear each time it saw the camera it whipped it's head round quick.

This little dog was hanging out the car at times and hubby and I were so worried that it wasn't being held in or on a harness and it might jump. We'll say this is summer because it looks as though it has had a summer hair cut, what a sweet face though.

I do think Denise sometimes, when my flash goes off people are thinking they'll be getting a ticket in the post, especially when I've been right behind them taking photo's of the make or whatever. Oh well, if they drive more slowly as a result my work is done.

That's a cute looking dog, wonder what kind it is?

This one isn't summer either, but had to show this acrobat of a squirrel.
    He just keeps coming back!!

Great photo Ellie, what a show off! Does it eat all the plastic off your feeders until the food all falls out, ours do?

That's a great nostalgic photo Denise.
I can remember my baby brother being in a pram like that, and me
sitting on the end. That's when policemen looked like policemen !!

Also, Ellie, it was a time when we all had respect for the police. If they told you not to ride your bike on the pavement you didn't. The fear of being told off by your mum and dad or by a policeman kept us all on the straight and narrow.

I think a Bedlington has a straighter nose than that but it could be a cross between one and something else Mary. Bedlingtons always remind me of sheep.

Ellie if that squirrel is anything like ours it will unhook the feeder sending it crashing to the floor and then help itself to the food.

You've just reminded me of a British one which I will have to dig out Denise. It isn't recent but definitely British and worth showing.

Denise, they reckon if you feed right through the summer the birds will rear more young because of the abundance of food.
