What could be more British than that Alison

Like your tower clock, Susie. I wonder what year it was erected, couldn't see
    a date on it.

We have had some great photos so far.

That staircase is magnificent Mary and you've reminded me I didn't go back to get my other iron photo, I must do that.

Are you all Yorkshire Tea Addicts or what! How old is the photo of the flooding Mary, judging by the policemen and the mini it could be the 60's or 70's although I'm not sure because of the coach or bus in the background.

When I go to get my other time photo I will take a shot of the inscription on the clock tower. It is Picton Clock Tower erected in 1884 as a memorial to Sir James Picton's wife Sarah who had died in 1879 after 50 years of marriage. We also have a Picton Road and Picton Library.

I love the Paddington Bear photo Alison.

Don't you and your husband look smart Elaine, such lovely photo's and that is a pretty dress (like the stretchy bit).

I like the way you caught the crow (or whatever it is) mid-flight Mary.

Denise, those fish and chips look delicious.

Wet and miserable here today so Summer may have to wait for another day.

We really do think alike Mary! Fortunately, the rain stopped and I believe a heatwave is on the way so could be lots of summer fun yet.

In the meantime, hanging out of the car window again, I managed to snap this. I do get out of the car sometimes!

I'll do a close up shot too. It is always so lovely to see all the baskets around the city and how pretty it all looks.

Do you ever find you are getting weird looks from other road users as you hang out of the car window, or is that just me?
