What do you ladies think of this card.
Is it too twee, to much or not enough?
I'm not quite happy with it !! The golden sparkles are actually green, but don't look it in the photo

I think it is beautiful, I love the background embossing, it isn't twee at all. Only one thing I might change (well, you did ask) I don't think it needs that pink rosebud. When I put my thumb over it on the photo it looks perfect without it. Either way, it is such a pretty card. Maybe take the rosebud off and pop tiny pink pearls in the corners to match that ribbon - just a thought, but try before you stick Ellie, that's my motto! I love those little flowers either side of the very familiar die.

Susie, I think you are right, it doesn't need it, that's why I didn't
stick it down Sometimes you just need confirmation.
Asked DH and he just said " it's ok!!! ", but what does he know
    Thank you.

If my hubby says' It's nice', I want to hit him! There you go, you knew you weren't sure about that rosebud, love that we think alike, don't stick 'til you're sure.

Yes I looked earlier and thought I would think on it but you right if you put your finger over the rosebud I think your eye goes to that rather than the centre but it's a pretty card Ellie yes you on a roll with these colours unlike me

I've just started knitting a lacy matinee jacket in pink and yes it is the pink in our prompt, maybe that's why I was drawn to it. Unfortunately, considering I've only just started knitting again, I couldn't have picked a more fiddly pattern. There are 10 rows that make up the pattern and I don't think two are alike. I'm making a wedding card and then I do need a 7th birthday card for a girl, so pink for that I think. Hopefully by the time I've sorted this lot the photo's for the wedding scrapbook will all have turned up.

Off to bed now, hubby is at the hospital for another camera tomorrow so it should be a fun night. He's only half way through that awful drink and no food for 30 hours or possibly more. I'm going to Abakhan to pick up the rest of the wool I left behind and see if they have the silver sparkly card I need, it's the soft silver sparkle, if not it will be down to Paperchase to buy some of their silver wrapping paper. Of course, if it's raining I may just take my knitting and sit at the hospital until he's done, but the last couple of times he's been there for 4 hours just for the procedure alone, so could be a long wait.

Hope hospital appointment goes well, and you get your shopping done if it's
    not raining
The jacket sounds lovely. I used to knit at one time, but haven't done
    any for ages.

Here's a card I made . The flowerpot and flower were freebies, also the PP.
The flower and pot are raised off the paper, but doesn't show well on the photo.

That is lovely Ellie and you can get that 3D feel of it even from the photo.

I want to have a go at knitting again in case my joints seize up. A friend of mine can't knit anymore because of arthritis which is so sad as she was a wonderful and avid knitter. So while my hands and knuckles are working okay, I'm going to have a go at all my old crafts.

Hubby is okay but we didn't get in until late. Meanwhile, I need new reading glasses which will help for knitting too. I popped into town whilst he was having his procedure and had an eye test done.

Scan your paper onto your pc before you use it and then you can always print it off again Denise.

Nice card Ellie..you are on a roll aren't you?
I made this today for some friends that have recently had a new grand-daughter. I really need to get a few different pink ink pads as I only have a couple and this one isn't really right but I'll have to make do.
