Is it true that there will be an August update that will include being able to save in svg? as I have seen this on another forum.

Version 4.1 is supposed to have the save to .svg option......but only in the business edition I believe. I haven't heard when it will be released, it is still in closed beta at present.
    Best Wishes

Yes 4.1 will have a save as SVG and PDF option for user created designs. At the moment it is only in the closed beta Business Edition but maybe that will change. No release date for open beta at the moment as there is a fair bit more testing for us to do.

Thanks Shirley, great if saving as svg comes in.

Does importing pdf's in Studio 4 better than in Studio 3. I find them a nightmare in the last version of 3. I have some decoupage images on a cd and the jpg's no problem but the pdf images mess Studio 3 up. They are 'flipping' awful.

I'm not sure about that as I seldom import pdf's - I'll see if I can find something to import tomorrow to test. I haven't tried exporting to pdf or svg in the closed beta yet either, in fact I haven't done much all week due to our new kittens as they keep walking all over my keyboard !!

Have imported a PDF using V4.0.1014 with no problem and the quality was good. I chose the option to import as Vector rather than image - don't know if this screen shot will show the quality very well
