The iron prompt in particular has had us all reminiscing, it's been great. I used to get into trouble for scuffing my shoes, though I'm sure we all did at one time or another. I have very slim feet with a low instep and my big toes turn up ever so slightly, not something you would notice but my shoes do and I can wear a hole in the toes of shoes when I've had them a while. Mum used to blame me, but I've got my dad's slim feet, think mum was a bit jealous as she had quite a wide foot!

Remember when you went into Clarks to have your feet x-rayed? I loved that. Clarks are often my go to shop because of the half sizes, I'm a definite 4 and half.

We are having a shopping mall built near to us (not sure if I've mentioned it). It is close enough to be really handy but nowhere near close enough to disturb our peace and quiet. But yesterday the road was blocked and it was a trip all round the world just to go and visit our friend who is in a care home. Mind you, it pales in comparison to your journey Elaine, that is pretty soul destroying I should think.

    What a nightmare journey Elaine
Yes I like Clark's shoes too Good you will.have some new shops soon so the upset of round the houses doesn't last too long Susie
I have been looking how far apart all the places in the UK are I would like to visit family friends are spread all over unfortunately so not easy last time I had 2 days here 1 day there with large suitcase in tow and I found that really difficult
Mary do you go to Skipton September as well I think 1st week ?
The lady that works at the estate agents who rents out our cottage is leaving I sent her a message of good luck she said I hope to relet your cottage before I leave I sure you be hearing from me so that sounded promising hope so we' ll see

Denise, it is only 5 minutes up the road in the car but it feels like it's a million miles away. It doesn't really affect us at all yet we will get all the benefits.

Another iron one that has been staring me in the face. We have this in our garden too but it is full of plants at the moment so I took a photo of my neighbour's instead.

Ha Ha, quick thinking Susie. Great photo.
I like those little tables and chairs. My neighbors have one as well,
and I always think it looks so continental because it sits amid lots of lavender.

Just wanted to say to everyone ,thanks for taking part and sharing some
lovely photos. I'm now looking forward to next months prompts.
    Ellie.

The table and chair are situated under the shade of a crab apple tree so it is a nice shady spot to have a cup of tea of something stronger.

They've been super prompts Ellie, looking forward to the next one's now.

Thanks Denise, it usually has a pretty pot on the table but hubby and I haven't finished our neighbour's garden yet, so I stuck that terracotta pot on and it was heavy! Must get on with his garden but it has been quite wet lately.

Hi guys sorry I've not been around, our tour has been very busy and the wifi has not been very good. My photos are not uploading to the iPad from my phone. We're back home Wednesday night so I'll be joining in again with the July prompts.
Thanks Ellie for the great prompts this month x
