    Your holiday sounds lovely Alison.
Susie, I think it looks bluer, because that one is shaded by a tree.
The others in the sun look paler.

    Great photos Alison.
The flower is a lovely colour.
I looked at the shanty towns photo, and noticed that
even though the houses are only tin shacks, the washing on
    the line looked surprisingly clean....

Ellie its amazing how even though people are lving in very poor conditions how clean they get their washing. Noticed it in Kenya the kids school shirts and blouses are so white!!!!! Oh and you see very little kids walking miles to school ours over here can hardly walk 100 metres without needing a car to take them.

Super photos Alison love the flowers.

I saw the washing and thought of the work that went into doing that but my first thought was of the dog, was it okay. Does that make me a bad person, I hope not! I can remember when I first got married we didn't have the luxury of a washing machine and ringing out towels by hand was exhausting but at least we had running water. It seems impossible to believe in the 21st century that people are living in these conditions. The flower is stunning Alison, but well done on capturing the other photo's, it has certainly given me something to think about and feel blessed with all that we have and take very much for granted.

No ,it doesn't make you a bad person. I saw the dog first, and thought,
that he does look unkempt and uncared for, but then noticed the washing.

I'm posting this card on here because I want your honest opinion.
It's for a friend who's 50yr old daughter in law has just passed away.
Do you think it's too simple,or needs more on it.
What do you think. I haven't stuck anything down yet.
